maybe in 15-20 years lol. Right now game is worth more than what most indians earn in a month. its even worse in pakistan and bangladesh. They could target the south asians with mobile game though.

I play Ashes 2009. I am using patch 2017 for it. It's much more realistic than EA in terms of broadcasting and graphics element.

The only drama I have with this game is a run-out glitch which seems to keep happening and the only way to escape it is to exit the game and resume where you left off, bit annoying really! Asides from that, it's a solid game, fielding could still do with a bit more work with some of the catches that occur and such, but otherwise a good overall game.

Joe Root is Ashes cricket mate! Batting animations look pretty good despite not being completely smooth on some of the shots. May actually get this one.

That first clip used looked and sounded amazingly realistic

In all seriousness, I would definitely watch someone from the SF office attempt to play this, like Altano or Max.

Instead you should make accurate bowling actions for each bowler..that makes it more interesting. Batting style doesn't really matter.

The only thing that got me a tiny bit interested in this game was being able to build STADIUMS which the other big sports games should include

i hope out of career mode created player stats update as you play because in dbc17 non career created player stats don't update automatically in custom tours

ok so my question is.... does it contain only england and australia like the ashes tour or can i play with teams such as pakistan south africa india etc.....

This could be the first cricket game where I have felt that I got beaten by a good ball.

i wonder in coming years if cricket games go multiplayer online with all licensed teams ,more realism and physics and no pitch mark for batsmen to play the ball but only in power play would be awesome and playing matches with other players worldwide would be super cool but it may not quite really going to happen ugh!

Well it's always been the case that the ashes squad of England and Australia have always been the only two licensed team in cricket games for the last decade or so, when was the last time all the test playing nations were licensed and player facial animations were real to so I don't agree that having the ashes squad licenced is like icing on the cake. Game looks really awesome I will buy it , but when will a cricket team come out when one can play without tinkering the dummy default unlicensed players from other nations? I want to be able to play with newzealand or West Indies without having to bloody editing each and every player or look for the ideal community creation. I wish the studio was well funded for licensing all teams for eg fifa games. Imagine in FIFA only England and Brazil were licensed and you had to play with an unlicensed Portugal team with a weird looking christiano Ronaldo named 'kristina babaldo' lol

Quite funny EA has made cricket games in the past. Think till 2008. It wasn't a revenue generator and IPL wasn't around that time. Moreover console sales and game sales are surging in India right now. You can see lot of Fifa and Fut players from India. It could be the right time for EA to get license from BCCI and release a perfect cricket game. You can see that majority of comments for this Ashes review are from Asia.
