Absolutely love this. It brings atmosphere, togetherness and a little bit of intimidation, which is what we as fans are required to bring to face any opposition. Big up the Ashburton Army!

Not exactly the Yellow Wall at Dortmund but fair play to them. At least they are trying and they are improving the Emirates atmosphere, just like the Palace fans. If more teams' fans tried this then the EPL would improve its atmosphere across the board. One thing though - will someone buy the drummer a strap! Because his mate is going to get early onset arthritis in his wrists if he continues to play the part of the human drum stand. I am a drummer and the amount of vibration that is going through his wrists by holding the tom by its rim while it is struck is not advisable!

Weirdly I'm an arsenal fan but I really don't like the whole ashburton army thing . Can't really put my finger on it . Trying to hard a bit maybe ?. They deffo add to the atmosphere though . Just feels a little against arsenal traditions which I love about the club .

I think it’s all to do with the atmosphere thing. I don’t think it’s meant to be intimidating just to living up match days. I can remember when they first came about it was to create more of an atmosphere inside the stadium and they were given a section.

I mean are they trying to make atmosphere or look tough as a big group . Very Italian ultras in style . They look as though they have just copied them completely .
