For the potential of what the home could be, i give a 9. For what the current state of the home is, i give a 4, every single part of this home needs to be updated, outside and inside. For the size of this house, the remodel, could easily go beyond $750k.

For a home from the 2000's this is awesome. Clean, simple yet beautiful. A 7 for me

The house is staged. You can tell that she has not lived in it for a while. The mere fact that she had the home for 20 years and it is in that shape is remarkable. Also, great that she invested in the property when she burst on the scene. Smart business decision and a good $1M + double of that investment. Good bones that a new family can make their own.

I give it an 8.7, people are too busy looking at what the house is as opposed to what it can be. Ignore the wallpaper and decorations, then use your imagination by breaking the house down room by room. Once all of that is stripped away,you begin to see what changes need to be made and what changes does not need to be made. Just from the few minutes I have had to look at this house both on the inside as well as the outside, I have several ideas. From landscaping, gardening, carpentry, interior design, etc. ₩!!!

I would give it an 8. I loved the home, wish I could purchase it.

I promise you it was staged. I had a opportunity of being at this house years ago when she was in it .I had the pleasure of going to a listening party one time With a very good friend of mine. She had beautiful taste in furniture The outside pool area was very nice .When she first was in it a couple of years her Mom lived with her for awhile They look like sisters her Mom is beautiful as she is. I tell you the food was amazing It was a dream come true for me to have been there . The pictures now makes it look dated But at the time it was everything Now the styles have changed & I give it a 6.9 But when she first had it surely was as 10 for the era .Peace & blessings Lam 🙏 💘

Yes the house is beautiful yes you can call that home it's pleasant it's nice and big I love that bathroom the kitchen set up the living room the staircase I give it a 20 it's that beautiful to me wish I had the money for it but someone is out there that has the money for it and love it just as much as I do God bless you all go Ashanti and keep singing I love that voice yes you are an icon stay blessed keep smiling good luck in everything you do

I love the architecture and landscape of Ashanti’s house. This house has managed to maintain the amenities that are characteristic of the era it was built in. I love the original crown molding, herringbone patterned hardwood floors, grand interior columns throughout the house and built-ins. I’d give it a 10.

It has great bones. Real clean lines but it seems more to be a vacation home. The entry is dated with the wallpaper, but that’s an easy remedy. Just needs a few touches to soften/cozy it up a bit. Nice place for her, Much ❤️

It’s outdated, but could be beautiful after a major upgrade. The grounds are beautiful.

The wall paper was an immediate turn off for me. I like the hardwood floors & that first bath was beautiful. The decor could have been better. My rating : 6.5

The home may be staged to sell. This may be how the home looked BEFORE she purchased it or after she moved from it. This is from the public listing, not how it looks while she is presently living there or even the furnishings she selected for her home.

This is this woman house she can have it the way she wants it because clearly if she wants it new in up to date she could fix it up but she didn’t so clearly she likes this way and I bet she got more money then all y’all in it’s a 100 for me it’s absolutely gorgeous😘

I absolutely love the wood floors on the Master bedroom.

That’s the home Ashanti previously owned when she was single but has sold now that she & Nelly are engaged and will buy their new family home together.

Very nice size home but it desperately needs an update! the bones are great but for a superstar like Ashanti I expected a lot more fabulosity! I hated the wallpaper on the walls and the kitchen is very lackluster! But again, the space is ENORMOUS and there is so much potential there so I give this home a 6.5

Strong Island's own Ashanti. House rating 6. Not a fan of the decor or the style of the home. But that's a typical Long Island home. Salt's house from Salt N Pepa kinda gives a similar vibe. Strong Island!!

The hardwood floors are beautiful, so is the kitchen and baths, the house has plenty of space but it lacks color it really looks like a older persons house.

The house is extremely dated. To put it on the market for more than 2 million dollars she needs to renovate the house. The only thing I liked in the entire homes was the sun zero refrigerator

It definitely needs some updating the kitchen and bathrooms need to be updated plus the hallway railings and wallpaper has to go. It's a 5 for me

U can always upgrade the house, u can tell it's stuck in the 2000's.

This home has potential I would do about $300,000 worth of upgrades maybe more so for me I would leave it for someone who really loves it as is and buy my home already to my liking if I have to spend that kindof money to upgrade it. I think it’s overpriced as it is.

It’s old needs some work especially the foyer. Wallpaper is just wrong. Stairway banister should been change out. Only thing that was updated was the hardwood floors in the master and the kitchen cabinets. Space is good but every room needs updating. Especially the bathrooms. I flip homes so I see everything I’m say 3 cause it’s on a nice lot, pool and it’s a nice home far as structured but just a lot of updating.

For that price, I’ve seen much more spacious gorgeous homes in the south & in the west coast triple the size than this home. Wall paper is old fashioned. I know everyone has their own taste & to each their own, but as young & gorgeous as she is, why the wallpaper?

dated and everything appears original to when it was built. Clean and functional but not reflective of any current design trends. To refresh and bring it up to todays standards would require a decent investment. I'd rate it a 7.5/10

The home is simple, the wall paper and chandeliers are out dated. The front door needs an upgrade. The home has great bones and potential..however it needs lots of simple upgrades...i e. Paint,lighting, granite counter tops and fixtures. I love the subzero refrigerator and the landscaping...However, I'm assuming it's because it's in New York and previously owned by a celebrity that the price is just shy of 3mil. Thus I think it's over priced.

Most celebrities have their homes staged by the realtor he deciding to have the home look more pleasing to those viewing the home whom might anticipate purchasing the home the realtor knows what is isn’t needed to sell a property fast

I’m a fan of the square 5000 footage but the bathrooms counter tops look more like that cheap lightweight laminate and the wall paper has to go. I live in New York and she will not have a problem selling that house just as it is.

Ashanti's house is not as beautiful as she is even if it was worth 200 million. It's a luxurious home and it has plush land acreage around it. It's still amazing Ashanti is still maintaining despite she has gotten older.

It's a beautiful house, but but not sure if it is staged or things were just left there. There's one bathroom where it looks like you have to squeeze through the sink and the tub to get to the toilet or maybe it's just an angle situation. Like the bedroom furniture, the videographer did an average job could not get a complete idea what the house really looks like. It looks like Ashanti has already left the building and gone to her next abode, because there's nothing on the walls and very minimal decor. At this point I would give it a 7.2.
