I hate getting fillings with a drill that sprays no water because it makes my tooth hot and it smells like burnt tooth

that is so sad it makes me upset

The little girl's rosary is pretty and when I seen that she was wearing it I though that the mom could have had her pray with it for a little bit and see if that calmed her down, good luck with the next visit.

Tbh the mother and the dentist weren't very comforting or supportive. Saying things like 'it's not going to hurt' 'be brave for mommy' 'they're going to have to put you in a straight jacket' do not make matters easier. Such things probably made her so afraid of a filling a previous time.

I'm glad that dentist didn't take it any further she was so scared maybe in the next visit pre sedation would help he mentioned wanting to restrain her that's the worst thing you can do to a kid it just makes things more dramatizing at least the mother was there to hold her hand I can't believe some dentist actually still use restraints that's something they used to do when I was a child old outdated methods that shouldn't even be used anymore. I also hate when they use oral retractors to force the kids mouth open and you hear the kid gagging and choking on the water as it falls to the back of his or her throat the dental assistant can't even have the decency to have a suction in the mouth at all times and why do they have their heads tilted straight up towards the ceiling my dentist always tilts the patient's head to the side so the water doesn't go straight to the back of the throat stupid y'all should learn from that

I wish I could hold her and say everything is going to be OK

You can still get cavities. Brushing doesn't prevent them 100%. It helps, but doesn't completely prevent them.

And why has this been put onto you tube? Who recorded a film of an upset child and put it onto social media? If you are the dentist concerned and you really think this is an example of good practice you are sadly mistaken. If you are one of the dental assistants who offered this child no comfort and ignored her distress then you need re training along with the dentist.The mother should have been allowed to stay and you should have used some skills and kindness which you clearly do not have to treat this child. Dreadful practice. Other parents be aware - do not use this dentist. Crap.
