is there a Cloning function? esp. cloning to a smaller HDD

Hello, there is no cloning function like this. But you could of course copy all data to another HDD. That is possible. There is also a function for restoring the entire system. Your Ashampoo team

I wonder if if I have version 11 of this Application, does it make sense to buy version 25 if 11 works flawlessly and does its job well?

@@ashampoo I bought the newer version "25" and I was a bit lost because when creating the Project I only selected one System Disk "C" with its hidden, additional Partitions reserved by the System for archiving. After making this Backup Image - I don't really understand because there are two Backup Copies in place of this Image and there was supposed to be only one? Now I don't know if when restoring the System from a Backup I need to drag only one Image icon or both? Tom Grodzki from Poland

@@ashampoo I reported this problem to Ashampoo Support and they responded strangely and evasively that it might be the Driver's fault. In Windows 11PRO - Driver fault? I believe that if I set the project to create only a Backup of the System Disk with its hidden Partitions, Backup PRO 25 should not, contrary to my choices and project settings, create a second Backup of another Disk (in this case, the second, physical Data Disk - with a name clearly given to it: "DATE". This is not a big problem but it is a very strange behavior of this Application. Regards, Tom from Poland
