Here is an exclusive interview with singer Anuradha Sriram where she talks about her favorite singer Asha Bhosle on Bosskey TV's Heartist. Anuradha Sriram has sung more than 5000 songs in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi movies. In 1995, she was introduced as a singer by A R Rahman in the movie Bombay, for the song "Malarodu Malaringu". Her first solo was for A R Rahman in Indira.

rojaravan lots of new voices now and she overexposed her voice and because of that now chance.
The interviewer needs to be more patient and wait till the person across finishes answering.

Asha Bhonsle is her idol!! What's wrong with P.Susheela , in what way susheela is inferior to asha or lata. Infact Anybody can imitate any singer but can't susheela. This is a fashion to tell that Hindi singers are their idol.

Damn you are insecure as heck. Every singer has FULL choice to make anyone their idol. Many North Indian singers call Usha Uthup and MS Subbulakshmi their idols....then why can't South singers take Asha Ji, Lata Ji or Shreya Ghoshal's name? They have full rights to do so

In my opinion asha bhosle is waste she only said , piya tu song is very tough to sing , poor asha such a easy song compare to south songs. Janaki amma is the best versatile singer in india.

And in my opinion you are a fucking waste. Asha Ji is a legend with an amazing voice utilized by all the biggest Southern composers from Ilaiyaraja to Rahman. Ilaiyaraja also calls her one of his favourite singers. Yes, Janaki Ji is talented but that doesnt make Asha Bhosle bad. And if you think Hindi songs are that easy, please sing yourself, I also want to hear how easily you manage to hit the stratospheric notes of Lata Ji and Asha Ji's songs.

+chrislitmen . I used to have a very good respect for her voice and efforts she took to do research work on IR until I had a chance to meet her in US in the year 2009. She was an arrogant and a very cheap personality. Rude to the audience, when some one asked her to speak in good Tamil. She was also venting out her frustrations saying that we should all tell the music directors to give importance to Tamil singers. She probably was envious of other singers, because she didn't get many chances to sing in the movies at that time! What a low life!! She thinks that she was born for a David of United States, as she was petering with her horrible thanglish!!! May be her inner shows up on the face now!!!!
