I think Ash having a kid who turns out to be the new main protagonist is a great idea I just hope she makes a good first impression she has a big family legacy to continue.

@@calebglasscock7392Legit that's the thing, it's very hard to fill in the footsteps of what Ash has achieved and second to that there's the chance of Liko losing etc which is normal for beginning trainer however the community will easily forget that and just trash the show and the MC without giving it a chance. So yeah there really is a lot of goods and bads for this one

Possibility: Riko could find Koraidon or Miraidon, travel back to the past, and meet up with Ash, so while she's the main character, Ash would be there as well. Also throughout the series, they could give glimpses as to who Riko's parents are (mainly her father).

Let's not and say we did, because what if she accidentally with Ash go back in time further and Ash ends up being his own father? I'm okay with Pokemon having the ability to travel through time such as Celebi and Dialga, not to mention that one time a Rotom fused with an elevator to become a time machine for Ash and co back during the days of X and Y, but a time machine kind of pushes hence why I'm not in a real rush to get Scarlet and/or violet.

Having Ash simply drop off the face of the earth is definitely a bad move so I do believe his character will be brought back but as much as I like the idea of Ash being a dad I do not think this will be the case If it where me I’d have Ash return as a teenager first and maybe act as a kind of elder brother guiding mentor type figure to the new protagonist This leaves Ash’s story open ended but still has him playing a crucial role

Yeah, first develop the new characters first. I could see Nico being a smart one, which would be very different from Ash. While Roy can be the fearless one, that always pushes Nico in the anime. Which will most likely be an episodic anime mix with the filler episodes, and three other plot lines from the scarlet and violet games.

Even if they age Ash up, it won't be a problem to bring Ash back. Say, they age Ash by 30 years. In that case, they have a 30 year blank on Ash's life which they can fill any way the want. So, they could just go back to showing more of Ash's adventures between the time skipped in the next generation

My main problem with aging up ash is they also have to age up other Pokémon characters which means we probably couldn’t have cameos from other major characters without them looking completely different aswell but if they do age him I’d like to see ash have some of his Pokémon that never managed to evolve in their evolved state

Honestly I think Liko is just going to end up being a big fan of ash’s Pokémon battling career. Ash is the world champion now so it’s not unlikely that she just bought a hair clip that looked like the symbol on ash’s hat.

Yeah I could see this being the case as well there's very high chance they do this instead

If down the line, the show does hint at the new protagonist being Ash's kid, they could do a time travel storyline on the side, much like what they did with Professor Oak in the 4th movie with both Ash and the new protagonist meeting up with each other. That way, there'd be a confirmation with some hints from their interactions and Ash would be there as more of a deuteragonist instead.

I think aging ash up would be great because so many people who started to grow up with ash are now older as well. It also allows the newer generation to grow up with their own character and will hopefully have the same impact as ash did with us.

To be honest I really want them to make ash the dad but not reveal the mother, keeping with the only knowing one parent thing. Plus the boruto thing doesn't really apply as in naruto, naruto became this character with such op shit in his corner any "threat" wouldn't really be one and if it was boruto wouldn't really be able to do anything. With pokemon it's not a problem if Pikachu is anything to go by. Still fingers crossed for who the girls dad is.

Nice video! Thank god this video and this channel appeared in my home section! You seriously have a lot of potential my friend! I wish you great amounts of happiness and success! :)

This sounds kinda neat, I think I might actually watch the series again with my kids if Ash got aged up. I started watching Pokemon when I was around 10, my oldest is now 6, so it would feel very much like the series passing the torch to the next generation the same time I am. I think they'd get a fair few OG fans back like that. Also, when it comes to eye colour, (as you've said with other things in your video) it's more of an art direction choice. My wife and eye both have brown eyes and our kids all have blue. That sounds strange, but since we both have the recessive blue eye gene, it's only a 1/4 ^3 chance. (1/64). So, uncommon for sure with multiple kids, but certainly not that rare for a single kid to be different. Again, that's IRL, I know that animie tends to make it really obvious who's parents are who's unless its supposed to be a big mystery or something.6

Father sounds great, but it would be nice if Ash was a mentor figure. Mainly cause one, if he becomes a father, it most likely means that most of his pokemon will be in pallet, a fair distance from his home. Two it would be kinda weird if we jumped straight to Asha and Serena married already. Would be better if we see them occasionally for team-ups, rival battles and mentorship. With lots of armorshipping when Serena breaks through that dense skull of Ash

I can see that happening, I think maybe Ash would give Pikachu to his daughter kinda as a way to look over her being this strong battler but it also means Pikachu can lose which makes sense

Can't wait for the child to be bothered to find out who her mother is, and ash starts dry heaving at our guesses about who the mother is. Turns out he just found another trainer that charizard is enamored by and listens to intently

I think the closest we got to having ash aged up was the art style in X and Y that made him look more mature around his mid to early teens, which I found cool personally. I guess they dont need to offically make some character aged up as the art style and characters emotional complex made them seem more mature as well.

Indeed that's very true, I think most of us can agree XY was the best artstyle due to Ash looking older more maturer many fans who left the anime after DP decided to comeback because it seemed like Ash had finally aged. If they choose to truly age up Ash I think a lot of the older fanbase would be so happy!

I'm more on the side that Riko should just look up to the champion Ash. However, I hope there is a twist to the structure of her show. I would like Riko to be written as a pokemon fanatic like Ash in the beginning that wants to be a champion but incorporate the Treasure Hunt of Scarlet and Violet into her character. I want the school to be part of Riko's lifestyle to make her have a different journey than Ash's, her trying to choose what kind of person that she wants to be every single day. Maybe figuring out her own path into the way of becoming a Pokemon master.

Personally what I feel will happen is that instead of ash being the father, he'll be like a mentor figure and during this time he'll age up by like 2-3 years and will be dating with serena. This can solve having the mc having to live up to ash but deciding what she wants to be as a trainer and also allows ash to have more future appearances but along with this, allows us to see a more mature ash.

there was a thing I saw a while back saying that Ash could have done all he did in just 2 years. there was an episode where they celebrated his 11th birthday if I am remembering correctly. This is mostly because you do get a couple episodes that show the events of just 1 day. so it's not a crazy concept that these past 25 years for us was just 2 years for Ash. And I do love the idea that Ash went home, found a girlfriend, grew up, got married, moved a few times, and had a daughter. And there has been a popular trope these days with bringing back old shows but the story following the lives of the original casts' children (Boy Meets World coming back as Girl Meets World as an example). This also helps the new and old generations connect.

I’m not mad at Dawn being the mother because she resembles Dawn the most out of all of them. Even though the original OG Pokémon fans want Ash and Misty like it was originally intended to be

Yeah Ash and Misty was the intended before but times have definitely changed. I think Dawn would be a very good option for both new and old gens!

Doesn't matter if Ash will grow older or not. If they're gonna make a new protagonist, they must show the same dedication to the new one. Don't let the new character get overshadowed by the former main character like what happened with Dragon Ball Z and Boruto. Let Riko's character development totally shine so that she will be accepted by the fans without any comparison.

My personal theory: Riko/Liko (either name is acceptable, there is no L in Japanese so they use an R sound instead) is NOT Ash’s daughter. She is a fan who was inspired by Ash defending his title as Monarch for the past few years and wanted to beat him, similar to how Ash wanted to beat Leon in Journeys. During Riko’s journey with Roy, we might see a teenage/young adult Ash (approximately 16-20 years old) NOT a 40 year old father. (Although I do think Ash would be with Serena)

Maybe Ash would more like an uncle that spends time with the new protagonist, mentoring her. Meanwhile, her parents are off on vacation or something and may be revealed in a future episode as people Ash met on his journey. Or can just do the same as they did with Ash’s dad and not reveal her parents either the entire time.

I like how if she is indeed Ash’s daughter that she also looks a lot like ALL of the female companions Ash has had, meaning the mother a mystery and up to fan’s head canon to decide. At least I hope that’s what it is. She looks like her design takes a bit from Misty, May, Dawn, Iris, Serena, Lily, and even Mallow to make it’s a true mystery who the mother is.

I believe that Ash being the father of this new female protagonist is very VERY possible, but it all depends on how the anime presents her in the first couple of episodes. That'll be the main determiner whether she grows on us or not. In further explanation, there hasn't been any other character quite like ash due to his very persistent and special personality, and his unique catching style and effect on the people around him. I recon it'll all boil down to whether the anime can make this new protagonist shine ash's personality here and there.

6:43 actually no... For the most of Ash's journey he was this kid who couldn't win A championship title in majority of the region he been on. The only win he had gotten was in the Alola region. So it's not a big of a stretch the his daughter would see the same struggles plus the pressure of being the daughter of a champion. Possibly Ash is also a Gym leader so... More pressure like May had with her dad Norman. So her story would be interesting since we all had this pressure to succeed past our parent's success. How she copes and makes real friends would be a struggle.

I think it could work really well, having ash be the father opens alot of story potential espescially of Rico tries too live up too her father’s shadow and expectations and learns she cant. Its a very relatable plot for alot of young viewers as someone who grew up with alot of expectations myself and couldnt live up too them i would love too see Rico discover her own journey, maybe she tries too catch them all herself, maybe she wants too challenge every gym leader ever, maybe too become good enough too challenge her dad someday, or maybe she could be a contest master, or something else. She has alot of potential.

I don't like father son or father daughter stories, it always gives the viewers alot of expectations and if not met it becomes a big let down like Naruto and Boruto.

100% Agree with you here, story wise having Ash be Liko's father allows for such a wide and broad story it even lets there be a lot of depth in the relationship between Liko and Ash and Liko's own individual character development as she tries to surpass her father but realises she's can't do that like you said. I think it would make for interesting story and do what Boruto couldn't

I think it's possible that Ash could be Lilo's father. But I guess we'll have to wait and see what ends up happening.

Yeah this is making me feel old. The logo on his hat meant league champ it was a combined letter L & C. Generation 1 series 1 episode it was referenced in it.

The thing that ruined Boruto is the fact that people expected him to be on par with his father off the bat. They held the bar way too high. It's the same thing here. Ash slowly matured as a trainer throughout all of his adventures. Despite Ash's many recent victories, he'd lose all the time back then, because he just wasn't yet cut out for being a champion. However, this could be a great thing to happen in the anime, even if this new generation turns out shitty. Take Best Wishes, for example; although it ended up being very bad, it paved a clear path for the XY anime. Also, just because Ash isn't the main character anymore, doesn't mean he'll take after his dad and we'll never see him again. Regardless, switching protagonists in a story is a very big thing, so it's going to take time getting used to. All in all, I think it's great to have high hopes for the new anime, but don't go giving your hopes up.

People don’t seem to understand that what makes a character based story great. Is character growth. Of course they need to start from a lower point, so they can grow to become better

Don't count Misty out just yet, you seem to forget that even though we've never seen her Parents, she still has Three Older Sisters, one Blonde, one Red-Head, and one with Blue Hair, so even though Misty may have Orange Hair, it's still possible that Liko could have inherited the Blue in her Hair from Misty's side of the Family, because if Misty's Parents have anything to due with the Multiple Colors of their Daughters' Hairs, including the fact that Violet's Hair is Blue, then Liko having Blue in her Hair may be because Misty is her Mom.

@@chrls5559 I makes perfect sense, Misty was with Ash since he First Started his Pokemon Journey, and the two became close through so much together, what they have is Way more Special than what Serena could offer, plus of all of Ash's Travel Companions, Misty was the only one that seems to have Mutual Feelings with Ash when it comes to a Possible Romantic Relationship between the two of them, Pokeshipping 4-Eva'.

We haven't met Ash's father in the anime, so maybe she's Ash's cousin on his fathers side or even his sister. It would make sense as to why she has the hairpin and the creators of the show could say Ash had inspired her to start her own journey after becoming the world's strongest trainer

It would be cool to have 2 timelines where one would be Ash Ketchum aging and becomes a father and a second where Ash Ketchum continues as is. It could be very interesting seeing both stories tbh

This aged really well in just 2 months.

aside from Liko the new main protag tho, theres a 2nd character shown, Roy, a kid who looks like Kiawe & his family with the red poofs on the hairline also his eyes are kinda red, however none of the sun & moon's really had red eyes but recently Ash has been reuniting with everyone & Iris' eyes are a lil pink so maybe they meet up thru Ash & if thats true then that could confirm the possibility of Liko being Ash's kid

Dawn did have bright blue eyes during Diamond and pearl series but was recently changed in the anime series to make her look closer to her game counterpart.

Continuing pokemons tradition of naming professors after trees. You could have professor ash 🤷‍♂️. Also rikos necklace could be Pikachus thunderstone.

In regard to the complaints about Liko being Ash's daughter, I have a few solutions, first, it could be that she could be an incredibly talented trainer because her father was one of the greatest(like no one ever was), but still have some faults, for instance, her failing isn't a big deal, the greatest had to fail hundreds of times to get where they are, to use an example from the XY series, after his first defeat at the hand of the ice gym leader (I forget his name), Ash went all glum and got a scolding by Serena, after that he understood better the answer to the question I will now ask: Why. Do. We. Fall? To rise up greater than before. Cyrus the Great, King of Kings, didn't conquer Persia by sitting around twiddling his thumbs. He seized his throne and is remembered greatly for it. Second, Ash doesn't have to lose his relevance entirely, they could pull a Delia Ketchum and have him occasionally pop up to check on Liko, or have flashbacks to him training her in the ways of being a pokemon trainer. Those are just a few ways I could see this pulled off in a good way and I'd like to see this actually be what happens, but I won't hold my breath, I'm not putting all my chips down yet.

I think letting Ash be like Red and just become a mythical person instead of aging him up would be better...plus I like the theory that after the first movie, he can no longer age or ages like the Green Mile. It's tragic but he would be alive to see any new Pokémon or even become a researcher. I think both the new characters look more like Goh between eye color and appearance. Though I haven't watched Journeys to know what his story is.

thought of something what if we get an aged up ash and wife partner ,and ash is nico's dad ,she could have a whole advencture (thinking about pokemon scarlet and violet ,with paradox forms (which have a time travel like feel) nico time travels and meets her dad in a random field ,just after he became pokemon master for her final battle to end her adventure(of coarse pikachu isn't there at that moment it having wandered off to play with some of ash's other pokemon) ,of coarse she doesn't realise who he is only after pikachu returns and jumps on his shoulder ,and he gives the classic ash smile ,after which the time travel situation occurs just as ash gets distracted by a pokemon in a bush ,while a surprised pikachu sees nico goes back to current time in a flash of light as she waves good bye ,only for ash to turn around after the fact ,to say looking around confused wait where'ed she go I didn't even catch her name while pikachu trys to explain what happened ,but ash not quite understanding , scene skips to current time nico returns home and older pikachu wanders over for a head scratch and then jumps up onto her shoulder as she walks in and closes the door behind her ,while you hear older ash and his wife chatting about stuff thats recently been going on like brook's brother (who owns the pewter gym) getting married or misty catching a kyogere

Originally, the anime wanted Ash to have a daughter with Misty before Amourshipping was cannon. So since there is a cannon shipping in the anime it makes perfect sense for the anime to go back to their original idea, giving Ash a daughter.

As much as I liked the idea, the writers at the time confirmed that that child wasn't Ash's daughter and that woman wasn't Misty. And I think they will never end Ash's journey with a daughter as every shippers will rage if one girl wins and the others are left in the dust. I think that's why Serena had so little in Journey. Pokemon isn't a romance anime, it's always been platonic. The kiss put the writers in a corner, where they know that an extended reunion between Ash and Serena means addressing the kiss and they don't want that, as XY was likely the outlier of the anime.

Yes I've heard about this, she is the girl from the movies which people assume is their daughter so potentially they will decide to do it now

So far i think she is not her daughter and just a fan,but i will like if she is Ash's daughter if there is good battle between her and her's family.If they go in that route i feel like it can work if they don't reveal she is Ash's daughter very late in story with very subtle teases to it,so that liko can establish herself as own new original character.

Ash has been a 10 years old for 23 years if he acctualy grows up im gonna be so happy

Plot twist ash is still 10 years old and the new main character wants to be the best Pokémon performer

She doesn't have to be his daughter, but it would certainly help smooth over the transition.

I'm curious if they'll make him a dad or not. I do think the issue with that is that some fans will get upset no matter who the mom is. Personally, I want them to not show what happens with Ash or have him as a mentor or legendary figure in this series. If they do make Ash Riko's dad, I can personally only see Misty or Serena as her mom. Not to say May or Dawn or whoever else couldn't be. Just that we saw May had a love interest and the others never showed interest besides Misty and Serena. They have to know that whatever they do will really affect whether longtime fans are pleased or not. It's a big transition and they have to nail it

@@miniverse2002 Thats why i think it may be a thunderstone as the gems in tera orbs are i believe one color but we haven't seen a terra orb that is open we wont know for shure untill the series starts, you may be right and it could just be that like ash didnt need a glove to use the mega stone she might not need the orb to focus the gem

AuraZora, there are several negatives that you missed. If they make Liko ash's daughter then the writers will have to age all the characters in the show by 20 years. This will make bringing back old characters very messy as they will often have to write 20 years of progression for each character. Secondly, why would ash's daughter start in Paldea? It is more likely that Liko is a big fan of ash. It would be cool if the first episode starts off with Liko watching the masters 8 battle bw ash and leon on her laptop similar to how the first episode of the original series opened with ash watching a battle bw Bruno and a trainer on his tv in his bedroom. Anyway, love the video man

I think riko is ash's daughter. The reason she starts in paldea is because ash and serena moved to kalos and has a child, Riko and then they go on holiday to paldea where they decide to inroll Riko in the Academy and choose there first partner pokemon and choose to journey in paldea. What do yku think?

Thank you finally somebody with some fucking braincells nobody apparently watched any of the damn anime if they did they'd would have known ashes journey hasn't been 25 years there's a time dilation the night and day cycle doesn't add up to 25 years he's still 10 it even stated that even iris is still 10 and it even stated in the anime that he's not a master after beating Leon plus he's going on a long journey he won't be back in Kanto for a long time which means he's going to paldea which idk why people don't seem to understand that the world coronations is only about 6 regions yet paldea exists they didn't show up in the fight we all know pokemon is based on our world which means 195 countries and on top of it clearly states on the pokemon company website the last episodes is just a colab of ashes journey so far to show thanks to all the fans throughout the pokemon history.

Writing 20 years of progression for each character shouldn't be a problem. There's plenty of shows and animes with a long time skip and they have to explain what the characters were doing during the skip.

It would just work to keep it quiet about her origion parents and such. Make her a huge Ash champion fan or just a completeley unrelated charecter. I imagine some of Ash's traits will be added by the riters making it somewhat easyer to keep fans of the show happy and such. Whatever direction they take I'm just interedted in a new focus charecter for pokemon.

Honestly I want them to make Ash grown. And also I want to see him find out that Goh and his sister are Ash’s brother and sister. And that Goh’s father is his father. This would add character development and context into his life. Then we can revisit all of Ash’s past friends maybe a new team that consists of Misty and Brock’s kids and Ash can be married to Either Dawn or Serena either choice is ok cause their both perfect for him. And what I think would be cool is to start off this new series is Ash and his daughter at his childhood home training with their Pokémon. And after a couple of good episodes he can say well it’s almost your birthday and professor Gary will be waiting for you to receive your first official Pokémon or you can register your Pichu as your official Pokémon.

i was surprised to see your opinion on boruto. as a huge naruto fan who was there from the beginning i can definitely say i dont watch boruto solely for naruto, and i like him as a character, hes a breath of fresh air, his goal isnt hokage, or anything grand like that, he just wants to be cool like a child his age would. and that gave boruto soooooo much freshness for me, and the communities around naruto tend to widely agree with this now, at the start, everyone didnt like the change, but after learning who boruto really was as a person, hes become very well liked. i thought most of the community turned around on hating him but i guess not. edit: the point of him NOT living up to naruto is why hes well liked now. its a new goal. while sarada, a side main, now has the big dream, which as a side main, and a descendant of sasuke, would definitely be able to live up to narutos name. the idea is already extremely well liked in the community and there is gigs of fan art of sarada as hokage.

I don’t think aging up Ash limits him at all. If they do a time skip where is all grown up they can always go back to when he was 10.

I personally don't fancy the idea of Ash being father of the new mane character. I'm way too attached to Ash as a character so I would probably look forward to each episode with him on them instead of forming new attachment to Liko. I have enjoyed the Twilight Wings stories and I think it would be great to get a new point of view of the Pokémon world. I would even follow spin-off of Dawn, Serena, Iris, Bonnie, Mallow, Lillie or Chloe. Or a story of Pokémon researcher or photographer or pretty much anything. I look forward to this new series! Edit: Accidentally wrote Liko as Lilo 🤭

I can agree this as well and like I said in my video I feel like it might more detrimental to the anime as a whole if Ash does become Liko's father most people would just watch the anime for the episodes with Ash and get annoyed when Ash doesn't appear in a episode! You have made some really good points that I agree with a lot Twlight Wings, Poke toons and Evolutions is the type of series i'm hopping for with this new anime all of those were really great. I want to give Liko a chance because i'm really excited for this brand new step of fresh air that is the new pokémon anime that doesn't feature Ash of course I am sadden but this day was going to come so yeah i'm looking forward to it as well :) 😂 First Riko, Liko and Lilo when we will it end xD (Jk it's all good i know haha)

I don't know about Liko having big shoes to fill, since every region that ash went to. He started a brand new team and pikachu resets to around level 5, for unexplained reasons. Luckily there was no power scaling in pokemon between series in the case of Naruto/boruto or even Inuyasha. Fights aren't trivialized due to the scale of their parents powers, especially since Ash never caught/kept legendaries.

I say they down side of the theory is that riko doesn't have ash signature z or lightingbolt cheek that he has that I can assume should be just as important to be for his children

Just as long as they keep the story constantly consistent for Riko, across the Scarlet & Violet anime with no going off track, then I'm more than down for the new protagonist. Also Pokémon should take a page (no pun intended lol) from the MMPR comic and make their own, detailing the events leading up to the Scarlet & Violet anime and in the next generation. Even after they've finished with Paldea region (after a reasonable time gap for the new anime to flourish), is do a season or two where the next generation meet up the protagonists of last era - Riko's parents included, also a couple of specials - if Riko is the child of Ash & Serena, that focuses on their family life. That's my thoughts on this.

Am ganna miss ash and our iconic team rocket trio it wont be the same without them

I think this will be a cool, ideal situation. Spoiler w/ash just becoming a champion/monarch, it will be a cool story with his daughter trying to be follow in his footsteps. Maybe he's an OG champion in the elite 4 in addition to be consistently in the top 8 in the monarch tournament.

Personally I don’t really want Liko to be ash’s daughter, I’d rather for the anime that Liko is an upcoming trainer with the end goal to beat the worlds number one trainer in battle, being ash. I think there are too many risks when it comes to time skips, and I completely agree with your point about the anime potentially flopping and Ash’s character being boxed off.

I think if the was Ash's Daughter she would have the same ideas as him. Trying to save Pokemon and not giving up till its over. Also i have a feeling he would help her and help her train her Pokemon in times like if she is almost at an utter loss of what to do and thinks of giving up.

Imagine ash follows after his dad and pulls an “ight im off to get the milk” and never returns 🤣

My husband and I actually talked about this back in early November. We stayed up one night while watching the OG episodes again and mentioned that if a new character was brought up for Pokemon, it should be his son or daughter and we could see how his child starts their journey with him making appearances and have his child get the starter Pokemon he wanted from the very beginning or a similar pokemon to the one he wanted.

I think the take on Liko being Ash's daughter would be a good idea, but instead of trying to be the next champion battler like Ash, she aims to be the best coordinator as she follows her mom's footsteps. Kind of like a role reversal, the main protagonist is a coordinator and the companion is the battler.

you run with the assumption of who her mother is. we don't know enough information to determine who it could be. eye color and hair color alone isn't enough.

When Ash, a character that has been 10 years old for the last 20 years, has a kid then you know you're old

How do you feel if they did age up Ash, made him a father, but not the father of the new protagonist? For me I’m fine with Ash being her father, I can picture her playing with her father’s Pikachu asking when she can become a Pokémon Trainer, now the question is story wise why she’s in Paldea and attending school at Naranja/Uva Academy?

Honestly I don’t even want him to leave he has been apart of my childhood and I’m tearing up while writing this comment I’m definitely gonna miss him I actually have another theory that actually Liko is the daughter of other two protagonists that has come with Ash on his journey but I hope ash is there for the 9th gen anime

You could also look at the earrings and belt buckle symbol. They are the same symbol just rotated.

I have thought since the minute I saw these two they were the offspring of Ash/Serena and Goh/Chloe. Given that kalos shipping is considered cannon since Serena kissed him in that last episode. The male child's looks are identical to Goh except the tuff of red hair, which bears a striking resemblance to Chloe.

I've been watching pokemon since I was 7 in 1998 when the show more or less started , and I feel it's time to let ash go already he's been around for 25 years he finally became world champion, and they are giving him 11 last episodes to finish his story on a great note, for all of us, so I hope he really ends up being riko's father, it'd be more amazing seeing him finally age than it was seeing him become world champion

I do hope it will be Misty. She had songs about Ash (He drives me crazy) and in the anime there should be another ending, where she and Ash have a child, which had completely pink hair, so blue hair would not be so unreasonable, if you include Ash's hair, besides one of her sisters also has blue hair.

I also hope it will be misty. She was the first girl in the pokemon series. I think she (if she is the mother's daughter) going to ride with the bike with her daughter. She going back to cerulean city and do something with the three sisters.

What I would do in that situation on a writing point was to have them be a trainer or leader of the gym or something else that will be a way where he would be able to be introduced again in case flops

I’m really hoping that for this new main character she will have a completely different dream compared to Ashs as this would give a whole new perspective of other dreams then to just become a champion and if they did do this then they might make a pokemon game like competing in a show or some sort which would be a lot of fun if made correctly

I think they could do something where they age up Ash to around 16 or 17 and give her some advice or have a training arc where Ash teaches her how to be a better trainer or give her advice

Ash is supposed to be way past 17 by now. He looked 18-21 in X and Y

I really hope ash becomes a father in the new gen 9 anime and along the protagonist's journey, i hope ash and serena join in the adventure FOR SOME TIME. Like when the protagonist first goes out on the journey, ash and serena teaches the protagonist the basics of being a pokémon trainer.

I will say that I hope that they don’t bring him up until the later part of the season, that way people don’t do the boruto and she will be able to have enough time to go through an arc

Liko isn't his daughter, in the 1st episode it said that Liko's parents went to the school she goes to now and Ash didn't go school.
