I love R6 but goddamn Ubisoft can be stupid sometimes. The new scopes alone brought a lot of life to R6 and now because some pro players are angry everyone has to suffer.

My guess is if it’s true they’ll remove at least the 1.5 and alter it to lower the pick rate (probably reticle thickness increase) and see the results as operators are completely changed for pick rates purely from the 1.5

best decision they have ever made. 1.5 had no cons and makes every other sight pointless. now u gotta pick between holo and acog which has their disadvantages. if u think this is a bad change, u started in 2.0 and us characters for their 1.5 and not their gadget

Hopefully, I loved acog and was annoyed by everyone loosing it and everybody only playing 1.5 eventho 1.5 is better of course. Loosing 1.5 would put a stop to the tdm meta, which is what sieges needs, beside a working anticheat.

I highly doubt they are going to remove the 1.5x, 2x and 3x scopes from the game, I think they are just going to remove them from certain operators, especially on defense, and I think they are going to go back to the rule of having 1 speed 3 armored operators being the only operators to have access to them and because certain scopes are vital for some operators kits. And as for the changes to ADS, I think what they are going to do is add the ability to customize your reticle in Siege such as the size and the ability to swap out reticles for each scope, and maybe like it is said in the video, they will add a new grip that gives a 50/50 benefit like a hybrid of the vertical and angled grips, and I think they will add more customization by allowing players to choose the grip design as well since some operators have completely different grips and the majority have the same.

I use ops for the 1.5 not cuz it’s good but because of the optic look. I could care less for the magnification I just like how it looks. In my opinion I like 1.0x for the magnification and the 2.0 sight look the best. so if they just made the 1.5 a 1.0 and give it to every one it would solve the problem cuz most people use it cuz it’s right in the warm spot where it’s zoomed in just right to see at a distance but also to see up close.

I feel like they won't even add the right scopes back. After Legacy mode which was literally supposed to be original siege back for an event, they completely forgot everything about old siege, only doing the things everyone remembers which is jager and ash acog

The introduction of the 1.5 started the tdm meta. Thats why they are removing it and it‘s one of those changes siege really needs. It would make r6 go back to becoming a more tactical shooter again.

Bit of a long comment I got here, this is sorta like an open discussion and hypothetical if you will, you've been warned, and anyway: I don't know how to feel about just having another info character, like sure, whos gonna complain about free info, but they coulda made the gun work, if we lived in a time where they made BB perfect, they'd be able to handle making a reinforcement piercing gun easily, and hell, he could shoot through BB's shield too matter a fact...like we can talk hypotheticals here, sure, people would find out how to finesse that shit, But you could definitely balance it, make it have a low ammo count (it's experimental ammo iirc), and make it so that it cant penetrate every surface, the highest it can go is piercing reinforced walls, once you're outta ammo you can't get it back, if they made it so you could reload it it has to be on the slower side, or if the deagle was his dedicated sidearm, make it like Chamber's deagle in Valorant, since we're borrowing character util from other games, like with Sens' bootleg Viper wall, in a sense that, it would be like a backup gun you can rely on, because it's literally just a heavy pistol, and you know what they say "Switching weapons is faster than reloading" I'm just sayin! Plus, if anything, for the damage, thats another thing Im sure could be figured out, it would definitely either 1 tap anywhere and act similar to Kali's sniper, or it would 1 tap chest and head, maybe they'd say "even through walls" it does that, idk, this is just what Im thinkin, but Im more of a Valorant shitter than a Siege player like I used to, so I could be extremely wrong here, side note, but to anyone open to discussing such a thing, feel free to reply.

1.5 ruined this game, it did not make it better lol. It just turned this game into cod style instead of tactical siege style. it has no cons and makes any other sight useless. now you will have to pick between close range holo or far ranges acog.

@@drxkq Im not sure what do you mean by "cod style", if youre talking about gun meta then the most obvious solution would be to remove one headshot-kill mechanic. or to add/rework gadgets to be able to actually kill, because not many are able to do so. Also ubisoft seems to go away from that idea for example reworking frost. Imo the more scopes we have the more you can adjust your gun to your playstyle, and thats good. imo every primary gun should have all 1.0s, 1.5 and 2.0 at least, maby also 2.5. Also pistols should have 1.0s

I always hated the acog, I only use the 1.5x and the 2x, removing them will completely ruin the game for me. The acog is shit, covers most of the screen and feels so distorted. That's probably going to be the dumbest move by Ubisoft in forever

9/10 players think otherwise. Acog was the golden time of siege, the introduction of the 1.5 started the tdm meta which is a playstyle originally not meant for siege! Removing it would mean people cant swing in every fucking situation and would bring back more tactical gameplay. Removing the 1.5 is what siege needs.
