you can adjust the bar regulator pressure by turning the brass bolt full in then hold it still with a 14mm spanner then adjust the small 10mm nut clock wise to raise the pressure anti clock wise to lower the pressure

All have to do to power up is a weaker regulator spring and set reg to 120 bar . Shouldn't even need to mess with hammer spring less you don't weaken the regulator spring. 👍

Hi just watched your vid again especially the regulator adjustment could adjustment be made with a extended socket going over the smaller bolt (with the spring removed)onto the larger brass hexagon ? so not having to remove the reg from its housing (if it’s very tight ?) Again very informative and precise vid 👍👌

Great video, very detailed and informative. When I get one of these and do a full tune to our UK 12ftlb spec I will be referring to your guide. Do you have an idea roughly how much the regulator pressure changes per turn of the adjustment screw? A ballpark figure could save us all a few teardowns. Regarding removing the regulator from the housing. I wonder if gripping your pliers closed in the vice leaving you free to tap it loose on the housing would free it? The trigger linkage, safety and adjustment looks to have drawn heavily on the Kral (also Turkey) range. Yes it's quite easy to stop it working by adjusting one of the settings too far but once set it can be very sweet. In my Kral I ended up changing the sear springs in the action for lighter ones, removing that return spring by the trigger completely and polishing the sears in the block and now it's super sweet with no creep, friction stutter or any spring noise when pulled.

Great comment. The adjustments are very slight. I wouldnsay 1/8-1/4 would raise the pressure 10-20 bar

HI, Great job in reveiwing the assembly of the regulator. Can you explain why the regulator on my MX8 will rise to 160 bar and after the first shot drop to 140 bar that's going from 933 fps too 886. Is the vent hole not working correctly. The psi is over 200 bar but it will only rise too 160 bar. Thanks

P.S. loved the video very informative 👍🖖.

Hey man great vid, was watching this to adjust my power upwards, but figured I could also ask if you can help me with the main problem instead: I have the MX-9 in .22, and according to aselkon's site, it could produce about 54Joules. Now, a couple joules off wouldn't bother or alarm me, but over chrono, with my ammo details filled in, it tells me only 34 Joules? Meanwhile the reg is at 130Bar from the factory, which seems to be on the higher side from what I gather, or atleast not the lower. Do you have any clue as to whats going on? Or is this normal and am I just misinformed? I have difficulty finding much information on these aselkon air rifles, so I hope you can help me out a little here

hello Moose I have the MX5 and unfortunately my warranty is void apparently as I have removed the stock and replaced the gauges so my problem is this!!! my regulator pressure is running at 150bar which is miles too high for UK sub 12 so consequently I am getting mental readings on my chrono running from 8-13bar which is not expectable and also illegal.... There is absolutely no after market services for parts etc. here in the UK I have followed your guide and everything is fine apart from the regulator is solid stuck and will not pop out even with a screw pulling it? would it not be easier to unscrew the brass outlet on the regulator and insert a long bolt with the same thread as i have now scuffed up the brass bit with the screw as it did not hold and caused a bit of scratching Hmmmm not good bit the actual port is not damaged and still works. also I am trying to get another brass port fitting of the regulator as I don't really want a scuffed one on my gun when I eventually get the pigging reg out and decrease the pressure to 40/50/60 bar see what is best thanks brother Iggy
