I just want to point some things out JUST for those who maybe have been a little too much offensive or aggressive down here. Music is for love and respect. It is made out of art and art is made to connect people, to create a safe place of sharing what moves us, what we think is beautiful, so much that we want enjoy it together. The Nightwish Army is generally peaceful and supportive. I imagine there were some people offended because you cut out parts of the song. This is not normally done in a reaction video and will inevitably draw criticism… or worse. Oddly enough, most people are fine if you rewind to hear interesting parts again. ;-) Another hint about your audio setup: It sounds like you were listening to the song via speaker and picked up the song along with your sprach over the microphone. You will get better sound quality when you listen to the song via headphones or earplugs and mix in the original sound directly. Anyway, greetings from Germany; I do not understand Italian, but from a few words I recognized here and there I got the impression you like their music. I hope you listen to more of their songs; it is worth it, I promise!

This live recording is from Wacken Open Air 2013, together with Floor Jansen [pronounced Yansen], the 3rd and present female singer of the band, in front of an 82K audience. About the instrumental and vocal added parts - it's good to know they recorded their orchestral and vocal back tracks with prestigious institutions as London Philharmonic Orchestra. London's The Metro Voices choir group and London's Young Musicians Children's Choir as their regular partners. Since this is your first Nightwish reaction, it is my duty to give you the [updated] short history of the band concentrated by Ann Waychoff, one of the biggest Nightwish fan who has since passed away (and I am doing this in her memory): " Nightwish was started in 1996.They are considered a Symphonic Metal band, with a female main singer. They are from Finland. Tuomas Holopainen [pronounced Tuo-mas], the keyboard player, composes and writes the lyrics for 95% of their music. [Sami Vanska was the bassist of the band starting with their 2nd studio album, he was with them until 2001. Then Marco Hietala was bassist and vocals, since 2001 to 2020. He recently announced his retirement both from the band and the public life for the next year at least. Then in May 2021 Jukka Koskinen [pronounced Yukka] became the bassist of the band, for the Human :II: Nature tour - and recently, the band announced he became a permanent member] And there is the guitarist Emppu Vuorinen [he also recorded the bass lines for their 1st studio album]. Then there is Troy Donockley from UK who is a multi-instrumentalist and vocals. Jukka Nevalainen [pronounced Yukka] is the drummer. In 2015 due to Jukka's health issues Kai Hahto became the drummer and as of now is a permanent addition. Nightwish has had three singers. 1st one was Tarja Turunen [pronounced Tarr-ya] (Operatic vocals). She was with them until 2005. The 2nd one was Anette Olzon from Sweden (Poppy, strong vocals). She was with them until 2012.The 3rd and current singer is Floor Jansen, from Netherlands (power, operatic, soprano.....most versatile) - you just heard her. There are live concerts that you should use depending on what era. From Wishes to Eternity and End of an Era (Tarja), Montreux Festival live 2012 and Exit Festival (Anette), Live at Wacken 2013, Live at Wembley, Live at Tampere, Vehicle of Spirit, Decades live (Floor). Ciao Ale e benvenuta nel mondo Nightwish. Come hai detto sono finlandesi, ma la cantante che hai visto (che è anche l'attuale) è olandese. È la terza cantante del gruppo e al momento del live che hai visto era nel gruppo da soli 10 mesi, ma con alle spalle una carriera giá avviata in altri gruppi. A Wacken (pronuncia la w come una v) erano presenti 82000 spettatori ed il concerto è semplicemente fantastico. Lo strumento che ti incuriosiva sono delle semplici tastiere elettroniche, il contorno di canne è solo scenografico. Gli altri strumenti tipo orchestra in sottofondo, sono delle basi registrate con delle prestigiose orchestre e le canzoni sono scritte quasi totalmente dal vero leader della band, Tuomas, il tastierista. La base dei fan dei Nightwish è molto organizzata e si fa chiamare Nightwish Army. È probabile che tu possa ricevere un commento scritto da Gabriel Bardac, che di solito introduce i nuovi adepti al mondo NW indicando e consigliando il percorso più consono alla conoscenza del gruppo. Noi appassionati dei NW diciamo sempre che la canzone preferita è sempre la successiva, in quanto ogni novitá sorprende chi ascolta questi musicisti. Finalmente un'italiana che parla dei Nightwish! Come già detto da chi mi ha preceduto, sono una band molto versatile e con il tempo ti conquisteranno. Floor Jansen è davvero la cantante più completa che abbia mai sentito: canta in 8 lingue (olandese, inglese, svedese, tedesco, francese, finlandese, spagnolo e latino) e spazia da generi diametralmente opposti come Iron Maiden e Puccini, Lady Gaga e metal puro. Un coucou de l'armée NIGHTWISH de France, avec un peu de retard, très bonne réaction et analyse à l'écoute du plus grand groupe du monde pour ma part. Vous venez de faire connaissance du métal symphonique et de notre reine Floor, mais vous n'avez qu'effleuré le dessus de l'iceberg et vous n'êtes qu'a l'entrée du terrier de lapin. Je vous souhaite de bons floorgasmes et continuez vos réactions nous serons toujours derrière vous pour vous soutenir pour notre groupe...... Encore plus d'écoutes s'il vous plait...... Merci. Continuez sur le festival du Wacken Open Air 2013, vous êtes sur de ne pas vous tromper, les quinze chansons du set sont des classiques pour tous les fans du groupe et sont à écouter absolument. Vous venez d'écouter la 13ème chanson du set, ensuite faites le Ever Dream qui commence comme une douce ballade voix piano et sur un signe de Marko ( le bassiste ) continue d'accélérer pour finir comme un train à grande vitesse et en même temps de faire la connaissance de la voix de Marko, puis essayez une petite histoire avec Storytime, excellent rock dont le refrain reste longtemps en tête ou alors du plus lourd avec Ghost River pour entendre le mélange magnifique des voix de Floor avec Marko ou encore plus lourd avec Romanticide..... Et je pense que notre ami Gabriel Bardac devait arriver sous peu, ou être déjà passé ( Un grand MERCI à Gabriel d'avoir repris le flambeau de notre regrettée Anne ) cliquez sur son nom et allez sur communauté, vous pourrez suivre sa liste en toute confiance avec les meilleurs mixages à la bonne vitesse et avec le meilleur audio mais ce n'est pas une obligation, juste un sage conseil pour entendre une petite partie du meilleur du groupe. Continuez les filets du groupe sont tendus et il vous sera très difficile de vous en sortir, plus de NIGHTWISH s'il vous plait et bienvenu à vous...... During the pandemic, Floor Jansen was producing KZread videos form her home (you should check out her channel and solo stuff). Her huge dog, an Irish Wolfhound, stepped on a switch which turned off her video lights. She left it in the video. Her solo material is more pop oriented, which you might appreciate more than her metal music. Se ti andasse di ascoltare qualche altra loro canzone ti consiglierei Nemo e Dark chest of wonders dal Wacken 2013, Sleeping Sun e Greatest show on earth dallo show di Tampere 2016, e magari dal più recente Hellfest 2022 Noise, Tribal e Shoemaker. La lista potrebbe andare avanti all'infinito ma mi limito :)

Per prima cosa, benvenuto nei Nightwish😉.Fan's / the "army" already said it,DON't SKIP, but,pauze as much as you want,that's were reactions are for. Some tips; Use headphones and let your followers hear the original sound. when pauze and give some comments ,do use the "arrow left"to go back 5 seconds. Try to put some English sub titles into your reactions,the auto translate is not always accurate and most of the viewers don't speak/read Italian. Nightwish is a fenominal band with a very BIG history,not all positive but, the music is always top notch,trough Nightwish you will discover a whole new world/realm of music and will probably bring you to also a lot of other bands /artists. Nightwish is a good start to bring your channel more viewers (you already can see that😁), the Nightwish "army"is a worldwide fanbase and loyal,wich sometimes can be a bit intimidating (it's a bit like Italian passion😆). I am not a metal fan, but I am a Floor Jansen fan (she made her first solo album "My Paragon"). She is Dutch, lives in Sweden, is married to the drummer of Sabaton, has two children and is a fantastic human being. I do like some songs of Nightwish. This one, but the best in my view is "The Poet and the Pendulum". A masterpiece also for non metal fans? Why? Because all the styles in that song are instrumental to the story. It is not rough in places because it has to be metal. Read the story behind the lyrics first before listening. Otherwise you might miss the drama.

I didn't skip while filming, I did cut a little to make the video shorter... But it was a very blast listening to this band!!!

Also, Gabriel's list is a good way to discover their music.

Bisogna sempre ascoltare musica "nuova", diversa dal mainstream. Io li ascolto da diversi anni e Lei, Floor Jansen, ha una voce favolosa. Ti consiglio di ascoltare anche le sue cover su YT, ad esempio Adagio o Shallow. Altri gruppi simili gli Epica e i Within Temptation. Buona scoperta

Ciao, benvenuta nel mondo del symphonic metal, di cui i Nightwish sono forse i maggiori rappresentanti. Come hai notato ci sono molte componenti sinfoniche dai cori agli arrangiamenti orchestrali. Alcune band come gli Epica si accompagnano a volte con un intera orchestra. Spesso i cantanti ed i musicisti hanno una base di studi clessici. Per quanto riguarda i Nightwish presto arriverà il generale Gabriel con la mitica lista.. io posso consigliarti Ever dream come prossimo passo. Per quanto riguarda Floor personalmente la ritengo inarrivabile, ha anche grandi capacità di storytelling; per te che non vieni da questo mondo, ti consiglio di vedere le sue prove a beste zanger, dove si è esibita in canzoni di genere mainstream ad esempio shallow di lady gaga. Pensa che gira un video in internet in cui canta egregiamente l'elenco telefonico . Dimenticavo, ho scoperto Taylor Swift con in suoi primi 2 album, mi prendevano i giro perché nessuno sapeva chi fesse😅

scusa qua il patto col diavolo non c'entra niente questo è symphonic metal musicalmente complesso che unisce la musica classica e l'opera al metal e che richiede grande talento dai musicisti e dalla cantante. Sono tutti bravi ragazzi Tuomas il tastierista è quello che scrive le canzoni con la collaborazione degli altri e i temi sono fantasy oppure molto ispirati alla scienza ad esempio potresti guardare The Greatest Show on earth live Londra 2015 un brano che praticamente racconta la storia della terra dalla sua formazione all'avvento degli esseri umani. La band è finlandese la cantante si chiama Floor Jansen ed è olandese è un soprano di formazione classica che può cantare di tutto dall'opera al musical al rock e al metal classico (growling) con un pitch perfetto ed è anche una persona dolce e umile ed è adorata da tutti i fan dei Nightwish che sono ovunque nel mondo.

Le "reactions" su musica in generale, indovinando bene quello che va di moda seguire in questo preciso momemto. Benvenuta nel mondo della musica che non ascolterai mai in radio! Una galassia a sé stante, con una varietà musicale infinita dove potrai sicuramente trovare ciò che ti piace. Ci sono anche diverse band italiane molto affermate in questo settore. *Foor «Metal Valkyrie» Jansen* assieme a pochissimi altri nomi, è un gradino sopra tutti gli altri. E non hai ancora visto (ascotato) tutto, btw... se continuerai questo viaggio nel metal ti renderai conto che il livello tecnico sia dei musicisti che dei vocalist è da altissimo in su. Nulla a che vedere con la musica "di consumo" che passano normalmente in radio. Forse anche per questo il metal non è per tutte le orecchie. Segui la lista di Gabriel (purtroppo il tubo non gradisce più i link nei commenti, quindi bisogno arrangiarsi in altri modi) e scoprirari perché il mastermind dei Nightwish, il tastierista *Tuomas Holopainen,* è soprannominato The Metal Mozart. Non preoccuparti di tagliare parti della reaction: la lunghezza del video non è un problema, e se fai pausa e torni in dietro, magari anche per riascoltare e commentare parti del video, non avrai grossi problemi di copyright. Avere sotto mano il testo delle canzoni potrebbe essere utile: nel metal ben di rado il testo di una canzone è irrilevante. ...ma soprattutto, un canale di reaction musicali non sarà mai davvero avviato fino a quando non farai una reaction a *Pisces (Live Session)* dei Jinjer. Beh benvenuta nel mondo dei Nightwish! Per favore, ti imploro: se deciderai di continuare il viaggio alla scoperta di questa band leggendaria prenditi il tempo e non tagliare i video. Le canzoni metal e in particolare i brani dei Nightwish sono lunghi ma meritano di essere ascoltati per intero. Molto spesso sono dei veri e propri "viaggi" o delle storie che hanno un inizio, uno svolgimento e una fine. Se tagli pezzi di qua e di là non si capisce niente e anche tu non capisci il contesto di quello che ascolti. Per il resto "buon viaggio". Dimentica i cliché legati al genere metal (che in realtà è pieno di sotto generi molto diversi tra loro) e goditi la musica che a mio avviso è più varia e interessante rispetto al mainstream.

I nightwish hanno brani anche più lunghi di 10 minuti, ma essendo pensati così vanno riportati interamente, al prezzo di fare un video di reazione ancora più lungo La NW Army sta cominciando ad arrivare, probabilmente anche qualche altro farà la stessa osservazione. Gabriel ha già postato la bibbia sui Nightwish. Solo una cosa: Floor in questo video era ancora una vocalist sostitutiva TEMPORANEA, al primo concerto in europa. Non la hanno più lasciata andare. Tra l'altro, siccome canta tutto quello che vuole, perché tanto può cantare tutto, una volta le hanno fatta improvvisare leggendo l'elenco del telefono. Lo ha fatto Un saluto dalla divisione italiana della Nighwish Army, settore Alpi occidentali

La prima è assolutamente non dimenticata (anche se io preferisco Floor). Per il resto è solo amore incondizionato per questa band e questa musica. @@ale_si_fa_i_film guarda, io sono un cantante d'opera, ho scoperto i Nightwish e Floor 3 anni fa ed è stato subito un colpo di fulmine, in primis perché la musica è molto bella e articolata, Thuomas il tastierista è il compositore ( un genio molto famoso in Finlandia e non solo ) e il fondatore del gruppo, Floor è fantastica con grandissima tecnica vocale, è un insieme di talenti ( anche quelli che non ho nominato )eccezionali.

Well, finally you've encountered some proper music. ;-) It's a pity though that you find it necessary to skip some parts of this song in your reaction. Shortening songs is a big no-no towards artists and their fans, as well as people who watch this music for the first time. Perhaps a 10 minute song is just too long for you? FYI, plenty symphonic metal songs tend to be longer than all your radio pop songs, they can go up to 20-24 minutes. How would you feel as a reactor if viewers only watched some of your comments but not all of them?

Don't cut the whole video like you did, besides it's not cool you don't enjoy all the emotion that Nightwish gives, and as for Floor you almost got it right, she's not a princess but our Queen, our Goddess of Metal
