You can tell Asante would definitely be a big time criminal if it wasn’t ball😂😂I met a few guys just like him up the road

Same thing I thought
I was too young to give Asante his flowers as a young Pats fan. Shout out to him! Seems like a real chill dude 💯
It's crazy I got to see him play now his son is in the league. Asante, champ, Charles Woodson were my favorite corners besides prime
Love that Asante gives Tom his flowers. The coach ain’t throw a ball make a tackle or nun
I really and truly need the basketball version of these discussions.
I really wonder what it's like to be as glowing and a magnet as tom is. I'll never know the man a day in my life but to see people that normal joes like me to the best of the best talk about someone with so much respect and glowing attitude makes me wonder what that it factor is. So awe inspiring.
I can't remember who the Patriots were playing but I'll never forget Asante Samuel running towards the quarterback as if he was coming on a corner blitz, only to drop back in his back pedal and the quarterback threw it straight to him, man they showed it slow motion one of the best plays ever, been doing it in Madden ever since. 😄😄

People fall for that shit every time on madden lol. Play with the slot corner act like you're blitzing then float somewhere 10 yards back right before the snap. Slant/post They're gonna throw it right to you more times than not lol
I know he's most famous for the interception he didn't get but, damn, he was bound to drop one at SOME point. From 2005-2010 Asante Samuel played 9 playoff games. He picked off 7 passes and took 4 to the house. He snatched 51 more regular season passes intended for the other team in his career and got into the end zone with 6 of them. Asante was a MONSTER. Why would you EVER throw an out route to his side of the field?

Of all the ints he could’ve dropped, it was the one that costed him a ring. He was a great corner but that’s all I’ll remember him for
When Pac is listing out asantes accomplishments, Asante’s face has so much pride! I love it!
Asante Samuels is so transparent! I enjoyed this interview like no other! His insight and intelligence are very entertaining! Hopefully I can some highlights after this!

The more I hear players talk the more I'm convinced a coach is WAY more likely to help the team lose vs helping them win. And that includes the best coach in NFL history
The best I am athlete interview thus far! Assante Samuel was a straight G that doesn’t get the hall of fame respect!
I'm so glad Shaddy is on the show now, because I love hearing stories about my Eagles. Shaddy was so nasty in his prime, and Asante was as well. I love them both!!!
"I don't know how to bend or fold" love it. That's how you should live life! Appreciate what u just told the world! Asante 🙌🏿
The last 20 minutes were the best part of this! Love hearing players talk about other players and the game from their perspective
This is a ALL-Time top 3 I am Athlete Episode because he was very knowledgeable and kept it all the way real, For him exposing Belichick and saying the patriots won because of Tom Brady. His energy for the show was 2nd to none 💯

He’s biased as hell tho. He’s still in his feeling for how his tenure ended in NE. Brady didn’t pick off that Russell Wilson throw against Seattle or hold the high powered rams to 3 pts in the SB that was Belichick’s defense. And don’t get me started w/ Brady being a game manager early in his career carried by an elite Belichick defense. They both are great and deserve their credit but let’s not forget the actual facts.

@@alfonsogayman9699 Brady went to another team and won another Super Bowl, does Belichick even have a playoff win since Brady left?
Asante Sr. gotta come back. This interview was gold.
