trust me i'd fulfill what Tim never was able to do if it means getting this band together, i'd bet my life if someone would argue AILD not being the top 3 best metalcore bands to exist in this universe

Songs like this one are the Pinnacle of modern metalcore, and I don't think I can be convinced otherwise. Such a brilliantly written song, so catchy and so hard hitting emotionally and sonically!

Man, it’s sure nice to see all the other mid 30s dads coming back here in 2024 to relive the glory days of real good,, pure metal, even if it’s just quickly during the drive home from work 👍

I'm a big fan of AILD and this is my first time listening. Guess there was a period before Tim's case I began losing interest... My loss.

Back in 2011/2012 I started every workout with this absolute BANGER. What a fucking good song.

Correction, there are now 21 fools who gave these dudes thumbs down. They, like all others who gives these bad ass musicians thumbs down have no idea what bad ass music is. Mancino is godlike on the drums.

I LOVE this album man, it's still one of, if not my favourite album today, it came out in a time I needed it, and at the time I didn't think AILD could possibly top an ocean between us, but they absolutely did, AOBU was like an 8/10, this one is I'd say a 9.8/10. Only because I don't like the intro song, and I don't believe in a perfect 10 lol

This album blew my mind when it came out. I really didn't think they would be able to top An Ocean Between Us, but they did. Faster, heavier, thrashier, and more melodic. The opening riff to this song, while heavily layered and produced, is legendary.

yeah this songs structure build up, intensity, solo are phenomenal, get chills when that solo goes off, think this is there best song from a production perspective

Woah. I thought this was All that remains at first.. almost same vocals, tone, music, impressive!

Love this band! Gotta listen to this track at least once a day. Try changing the speed from 'normal' to half speed (0.5) and start it at the guitar solo. The song takes on a grunge vibe and sounds like it came out of a midi keyboard - fell in love with the song all over again! That's also a good way to learn the solo.

This song puts me to tears, not in the way of being sad, but in a way of letting something go that I've honed, and have been attached to for years on end of my life, its as if I'm letting a very close loved one, who has passed away, go! but in the sense of the loved one being let go, it's not a person, it's an emotion that I've forever honed and been in touch with since I was a young child, as a means of survival and defense! but recently this emotion has caused me more trouble now than survival which means its time to let go! i HATE metal bands that sing rubbish, that sound like garbage, THIS BAND.....wooooowwww, the complete opposite, i have sooooo many friends who hate metal and were wowed when i played the album around them, as i lay dying is TALENTED BEYOND WORDS, stunned they never won that grammy they were nominated for,, they sure are deserved of having at least one. truly a rare band.
