Phil Sgrosso comments: "The initial idea to create a deluxe version stemmed from leftover material written for the Shaped By Fire album. Some of it was re-purposed for b-sides and several tracks were used for the live show exclusively, until now.
More recently we had an interest to recreate 'My Own Grave' into a more stripped-down/orchestral version inspired by the 90’s "Unplugged" era that we all grew up with. We also became interested in a new version for 'Redefined', incorporating a more heavy electronic element. The live versions for 'Blinded' and 'My Own Grave' were captured on our last European tour in Munich, which was one of our biggest and high-energy shows to date.
For the first time ever, we’ve released an instrumental album version to showcase the musical aspect. Just like when we’re writing initial demos, the music is step one in captivating the listener’s attention so the intricacies and details of the music are a little more prevalent here.
It was a fun experience to breathe some new life back into Shaped By Fire. We’re all very proud of this album and are always encouraged by our fans’ support and enthusiasm for new AILD music over the past 20 years."

When Tim grabs that guys arm and just nods his head at 3:25, I felt that. That's what it is all about. Tim has shown me I can come back from anything.
This band will always have a place in my metal heart..
Tim and Josh's vocals are so good live, I really hope I can see these guys live some day.

i love the rawness in this performance. so much power in Tim's vocals and so much emotion

And I see all the good he has done since the situation. I don’t agree that people should suffer for the rest of their lives for their mistakes. Like some people think ( Finn McKinnty). He had so much to say about As I Lay dying and the situation that happened with Tim. Everyone has their opinions, but the way he said it just made him sound like a piece of shit. Then again he’s not a Christian. Ya don’t have to be a Christian to be a forgiving person. But Christian people are usually more forgiving. I just hope as I lay dying can find a good lead guitarist to replace Nick Hipa. I’m surprised they haven’t already. I’m sure there is someone that would be the perfect fit for this band.

Amazing songs/clips. Shaped by fire followed with fidelity the subgenre METALCORE. Congratulations dudes, Josh Gilbert the biggest love of my life i miss Josh, Jordan is missed too. 😭
My favorite is Phil Sgrosso he is so beautiful and when he tosses his hair forward, beautiful straight black silky strands.. .so in love. 😍😘🔥

This band is literally my childhood. I grew up listening to their music. This was the genre I enjoyed before I got into EDM and all that new generation dance music. Metal is where it’s at.. literally the best genre.

They’re pretty decent, not as good as as I lay dying though. But ya can’t jump to conclusions and just say hey it’s disrespectful when maybe it wasn’t their decision. It could have to deal with legal issues. Maybe to have him featured, he could file a lawsuit or have to paid for it. We don’t know the situation

@@MetalheadBusinessman Sad reality, Tim had unfollowed Nick Hipa before, after Jordan posted will be sitting out of upcoming concerts until some internal issues be solved Tim posted it was all Jordan's fault and Tim unfollowed Jordan, but Jordan didn't unfollowed Tim. Sad reality i love all these men i wanted to see them together again but we only have to thank them for having make us so happy playing their amazing songs and support them and wish the best for all they.
