As Foreign Student Exodus Continues, Officials Fear Kyrgyzstan's Anti-Immigrant Reputation

More than 1,200 foreign students, mainly Pakistanis, have fled Kyrgyzstan since a shocking mob attack targeted their university dorms. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov pledged to take action but also appeared to legitimize the anti-immigrant sentiment that fueled the attack.

Cheap medical degrees. In India you need to do extremely well academically to get into a free/low cost government medical college. Then come the private medical colleges which are extremely expensive. You can get a medical degree from abroad for much less money, give an exam in India and practice medicine in India. Studying medicine in countries like Ukraine, Georgia, Russia, Kyrgyzstan etc is much cheaper. Hence students go there.

@@sonyasever7625not worse, but much more expensive and harder to get into. The vast majority are studying medicine. In India and Pakistan there's stiff competition to enter the faculty, and if your grades aren't high enough you have no chance. Plus, if you live far from the university you need to move closer, and the cost of living around the campuses are very high. By contrast you can move to Kirghizstan, or Georgia or many other ex Soviet countries, pay to get into a medicine program, regardless of your grades, pay for all living expenses there, and still spend way less than a degree back home would cost you.

Now every second person wants to study medical, we have 200 medical colleges around our country and their is a very tough competition among students to get scholarship or government funded seats. The leftover who have daddys money 💰💰 in their cars driven by chauffeur are the one who get admission in very expensive colleges and it's degree costs 50,000 dollars approximately. No every or middle class father can afford that kind of money so these kind of countries come into picture that offers cheaper options than our own available ones.

🤔 The Ministry of Internal Affairs told the full story of the conflict that occurred in the hostel The story begins on the night of May 13th. According to the department, that day, near a pizzeria in the Vostok-5 microdistrict, a group of Kyrgyzstanis met a group of foreign students and began asking questions about why they smoke here? One of the locals started a violent argument, but the foreigners began to run away. They ran to their place of residence - the same hostel. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, then unknown fighters for a healthy lifestyle came to their hostel and took away their money and things. To do this they had to use force. Four unknown people, who were catching up, began to enter, knocking down doors to different rooms of the hostel. When they got to the rooms where the girls lived, other foreigners who lived in the hostel came out in response to the noise and screams and subsequently gathered to fight back. Then a fight broke out in the hostel courtyard. They say that three of those who started the cheese bor ran away almost immediately, leaving one of their own. The foreigners caused him bodily harm, and then called an ambulance for him. In the hospital, the beaten Kyrgyzstani gave a different name, did not give an explanation of the circumstances of the incident, and did not write a statement. When he received medical help, he fled. On May 17, the video began to circulate online. For example, subscribers sent it to us at 7 am. But it was published closer to noon. Without imposing opinions and prejudices. As the police say, it was without explanation of the true circumstances, which caused a public outcry and mass discontent among young people and led to local unrest. Here, in turn, I would like to add that comments regarding the video were promptly provided by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Sverdlovsk region and published by the media without any distortion. They said that there was a fight between hostel guests. Based on the incident at the hostel, the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs Directorate opened a criminal case under Article 280 (Hooliganism by a group of persons by prior conspiracy) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Four foreigners were detained and placed in a temporary detention center. Three more people filed a complaint about the theft: about $3 thousand and an iPhone 15 ProMax. To date, two of the four attackers of foreigners in the hostel have been identified. They turned out to be natives of the Kemin region, 18 and 19 years old. The other two are still being sought. At night, taking advantage of the situation, third parties, in order to destabilize the situation, began to spread false information through messenger groups that there were casualties, and the number of supposedly dead citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic was announced. The information about the existing victims is FALSE and does not correspond to reality. You already know the night chronology.

People of Pakistan, after this incident you have no conscience. How many people, almost all of Kyrgyzstan, asked you for forgiveness for what happened and many people brought you food with their own and talked. Even the President himself and the Minister of Health came and talked to you. And after that you write things like this, if you want to get out, then get out. Why do you need such things every time, why do you slander Kyrgyzstan every time from your people, there are also bad people who have taken refuge, there are also bad people. good bad, you were still working in Kyrgyzstan and studying, you’ve completely lost your conscience, you’ve already been asked for forgiveness and you still write bad things about Kyrgyzstan everywhere, well, if Kyrgyzstan is so bad, don’t come again!!!!!!

Did you take any action? Just forgiveness doesn’t solve anything. Everytime your racist countrymen attack foreign students and few of you apologized. Then it repeats again. So, stop defending your racist hooligan brothers.
