Hey guys. I take care of my mom who is now 92 years of age. She has severe hearing loss and some cognitive issues that are mainly with her ability to understand nuance. Also, her memory is getting more and more confused. So, when I start her day each morning I look for very easy to understand programming mostly in the form of walking videos that are on YT from across the planet. It's easy for her to understand a walking video and there is usually very little dialogue. The one exception is Trout and Coffee. Your narration is so soft and easy to understand. And although she might miss the nuance in your stories, she is very relaxed by the sound of your voice. I would suggest that your videos be played every morning in all the assisted living facilities around the country. They are life affirming and quite beautiful in various ways. I thank you for your creativity and your excellent story-telling. If there was such a thing as an award for KZread videos I would vote for your channel. We could call the awards, Tubies, and they could go along with Grammys, Emmys, and Academy Awards.... :)

Agree… western mass southern Vermont truly lovely places…. They do have their share of typical issues but from great Harrington they Stockbridge west Stockbridge Lee Lenox willismstown Brattleboro etc etc truly magical places….they sure knew how to make towns bank in the day… compared to todays strip mall cheap ass ugly development

But something in my heart makes me want to,, as a lot of my family lived in America before I was born,,, they returned to England @something in my soul wishes they had stayed,,, my DAD was a lumberjack he would only have been about 23 years old and he broke his leg badly so that work stopped he said it was some of the happiest days of his long life... While autumn fades fast in New England, it's barely arriving here in the desert. One of the trees outside my balcony is finally changing colors and I love it. Okay we're down by LA and I thought it was just me. We didn't see changes in the colors until 2 weeks ago and now the Santa Ana's are making quick work of the leaves. So, we get maybe 2-3 weeks of Autumn. Lol

Ordered dream. Thank you for the trip down memory lane, especially the walk through the hoar frosted woodland and fields. It took me right back to my childhood in the 50s in Sw Mich. The stillness and the heart-expanding beauty are truly precious experiences. Being alone in it somehow makes it better. I think it is because one can shift to the Soul’s perspective so easily in these situations. Some people call that “being an artist” but I call it “being connected to the Creator.” That Creator lives in everything all the time but humans choose to ignore it a lot and live in mere ego instead. Your videos is just what I needed to calm my spirit this morning. Thank you. Your videos are stunning.

You can really feel the slow-down in this episode and the way it feels to watch it. I always watch on a laptop, but this is an episode I'd really like to rewatch some on a very big screen with very good sounds. While we often do our best work under pressure, and you certainly do, the change in pace shows up in what you're looking at and how you're moving the camera around, and it has resulted in a really good episode. The railway line shots were wonderful by the way, but I do love to see that old faded red truck appear once in a while. It's like an old wrinkled man that you pass on his porch once in a while and the toils and adventures of his life show in his face.
