The timbrel or tambourine is a biblical instrument of which one of its purpose is for praise and worship unto God :
"Let them praise His name with the dance; Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp." (Psalm 149:3)
Another of its purpose is for warfare :
"And in every place where the staff of punishment passes, Which the Lord lays on him, It will be with tambourines and harps; And in battles of brandishing He will fight with it." (Isaiah 30:32)
The dance is to a medley of 4 songs :
- As David Did
- The Sound of Joyful Shouting and Salvation
- I Will Praise Him With My Whole Heart
- Blessed Be the Lord God Almighty

Very intriguing and it made me feel like as though I was watching how they may have praised God in those days. Beautifully done. And I love the dress and the dancing. We all should be dancing and rejoicing just like this. Anyone else keep watching till the end?? ❤️ just wow.
We used to play tamborine songs like this in the Salvation Army when I was growing up! I'm glad to see it still going on as an instrument of praise.

hello dr hayley i agree with you that the timbrel is not used enough and go to the salvation army to sing and the timbrel makes such a difference to the sermon.the instrument inspires ad turns heads.

Please help! I've been looking for these steps for YEARS and nobody has been able to reply back. I used to know all of those when I was little but then I left my country at 12 years old and after 10 years of not doing them, i forgot almost everything. I'd really appreciate it if I could get the manuals with the written steps and the drawings sent to my email or something. At the church where I started to attend, they only dance according to the rhythm without the actual/real steps. Please help me, this is very important to me. I remember a few names like Trinity, Acts, Hope and a few more but it sucks remembering only a few when once I knew over one hundred before :(
