Hello,i would like to correct you respectfuly and give you some facts that will narrow our differences. 1,Do you agree,Ethiopea claims the only country in Africa never colonzed? but Eritrea was colonzed by Italians from 1882-1941. that tells you they never been the same country. 2,the counrtries who were under the italian colony Libya/Somalia got their independence after 2nd world war but eritrean independence was compromised,the western decided to federate with ethiopea... the eritrean people rejected the decision and started arm strugle and took 30 years of bloody war. 3,in 1991 Derg was defeated be Eritrean.1993 Eritrea won recognition through united nation sponsored referendum in wich 99% of voters chose Sovereignty. hope this will help.
