ah good old Vancouver traffic. great station to just listen to a lot. I listen to it way to much even though I don't live up there I still do listen to it.

That station burned down about 4 years ago. Tower fire caused a bog fire that burned for months. One of the towers fell. Took months to get the tower re-elected and the station operated at reduced power during the time.

Cool piece of kit! I'll finish watching later.

Would you be so kind as to point me towards instructions on how you setup the pc control with your phone? I already have the s50 pro setup. Would simply like to access the computer from my phone and then onto the s50 like you did. Thanks.

I am trying to repair Phillips AZ1004/01 portable cd cassette player. It has loosed belt issue. I want to replace it. But to get the cassette deck out, it is needed to remove the radio handle first otherwise screws are not accessible. Sir Can you put a video to explain how to remove the Plastic handle of a portable radio. Thank you.

Hello sir i have an STL auto answer tape cassette player and recorder and i have problems about ground it make a sound like a plane when is take off i added inside on it an mini amplofier from a computer speakers and i dont know where to connet the ground wire i added an iron pate band i connected the wire but still sound wird if i touch it the soung is gone

How would I install a DAC between it and my amplifier? Thanks for the video btw. I realise the s50 has an onboard DAC. What it doesn't have is a headphone jack.

What is the advantage of this device if I may connect straight from my mobile by Bluetooth to my audio systems

My issues is I get no "sound system" wifi address when trying to pair them. Nadda.

I have 5 systems running 24/7 here and have no issues.

I received one of these yesterday. I'm having problems hooking up the Wi-Fi. It could possibly be my smartphones fault. What Smartphone are you using?

It's a little dated only covering 24 bit 192000 sample rate and doesn't decode DSD. The Topping E-30 is half the price and 32 bit 384000 sample rate and decodes DSD.

This is more for streaming online content. How much online content is steamed over 192/24?

Big deal. Nobody uses dsd. Incidentally dsd is roughly equivelant to 88.2khz 24bit. Very limited content and it has all been converted to pcm for processing and back so no advantage.

@@gargunza4141 Topping hands down and the E-30 sounds fantastic. It just doesn't have Bluetooth.

Does it play DSD files ?

So it's more of a DAC than a preamp I guess. What sample rate does it offer? EDIT : Be nice if you could pop it open to see what they have for components.

Will do that on a future video. Sample rate up to 192khz 24 bit depth. I did a teardown on the 50pro. This one was more of a show the unit and show how it works with the app, short and to the point. A more in depth take it apart (for all 3 of them) will follow for the nerds that want to see how it is built. It's the same manufacture that made the plate amp I just built into that speaker.

@@WiiNV outputs analog signals. The toslink output is kind of usess as it it going to rely on the DAC on your receiver. Modern receivers will have all this streaming capability built in and older ones won't accept more than. 44.1/16 as they were designed for CD players. So this is a non issue.

@@12voltvids The DAC on your receiver wouldn't get full Hi Res even if audio recordings were higher than 16/44 if that's the case! Would like to see what the digital output to external DAC displays when processing HiRes from this?

@@WiiNV analog left and right. That takes advantage of the internal DAC. I have nothing over 48 / 16 here. I would never hear the difference. Perhaps when i was 16 but not now.

I would imagine it sounds great. I have only used it to stream internet radio and digital files from my server and as a digital player it sounds great as that is using the DAC but i have not plugged a cd player on using digital in.

Best way to go is good quality.. not 5 buck a pair...powered speakers .
