Traditionally, the Arvada Police Department has upheld policy standards that adhere to the norm of our community. Our community has changed and now officers are changing with that standard. Police Officers are now allowed to display their tattoos, don support vests, and proudly wear their beards. This change allows officers to not only feel comfortable in their own skin, but continue to relate to our changing community and serve the residents of Arvada.
