I want to state here one very true fact. May be Hard to hear but very true! The burden of Hindu-muslim and other religions migrant mostly bearing By North-east only.. other state GOV or people literally want to implement CAA or any migrant citizenship act but don't want to give them shelter, Only North-eastrn knows how demographic changed by these migrant, now it constantly becoming huge threat for indigenous people of North-east. I recommend you to study Tripura history and how there demographic got change after 1965 migrations.. u will understand it clearly!👍

Am from arunachal Pradesh And folks it's not really about religion Remember arunachal people never had violence in the name of religion ever. But what we feel is that we are so less in population of only 15 lakhs and in that the largest tribe has only 1 lakh population which means by default chakma and hazong will be the 2nd largest group Remember we were Indians from the beginning and gave them so much support as refugees now u can't force us to give our land to them Either it may Muslims Christian or hindu

What is our main concern is that their population of 60000 would affect very much to our political system as they are the 2nd largest group in arunachal For example in 10-15 years they may be the largest group in arunachal now nyishi tribe being the largest tribe of only 1 lakhs and if this happens our CM ,MP etc will be from chakma and hazong people and we will be like a minority(in terms of tribe population coz arunachal is multi tribe state) in our own land and that's what really worries us

@@wanderingsoul504 Your concern is genuine but overrated.During Partition Punjab also absorbed much of the migrants from Pakistan.Some Parties try to create such scene .But with timely intervention of centre issues resolved in very fine manner. In case of Arunachal Pardesh,Parliament can extend 6th schedule protection to Arunachal Pardesh and for economic assistance ,Union govt should provide additional grants for a period of 20-30 years

@@AtulChakma I haven't read about such negotiation anywhere .But anyhow chakma and other native tribes of chattogram hill tracts should be relocated in their native ancestral land of chattogram .Everyone has right to live in their native land and follow their indigenous culture and language . As far as negotiation is concerned if it was happened it carry no meaning as it was decided by bunch of some british educated brown english people like gandhi ,nehru ,jinnah .They are big fool and idiot .Had they ever been to chattogram how they could decide fates of native tribes from delhi ? Why some people in Arunachal Pradesh wants these people to be sent to Assam ??? We are already overpopulated and our land area is less than Arunachal Pradesh. Moreover we have no role in settlement of these people in Arunachal Pradesh, they were bought by central government under a definite plan. If they come to our state, where will we go? We don't have any constitutional protection unlike Arunachal Pradesh, its a free place, so it will become more vulnerable to us than it is for u in Arunachal Pradesh. This is called empty vessel sounds much. Do u know how many chakma soldiers died in the indo Chinese war. More than 1500. PM asked help from the chakma king. Because of chakmas only present day u called arunchal Pradesh exist. If chakmas dint fight with the Chinese then it would have already captured by China.

Why don't softy GOI take Chittagong back, it was already disputed during partition of Bengal.

For everyone saying that this is the fault of missionaries or any other religious group, read this: In north east, ethnicity matter WAY MORE than religion. That is why Hindu Ahoms protested against CAA as it could lead to settlement of Hindu Bengalis in the Brahmaputra valley, the heartland of Ahoms. And that is why Hindu Bengalis from Tripura protested against the settlement of Bru refugees in Tripura who are ALSO HINDU. After Indo China War 1962 , Chakmas were brought by Central Government to protect Border area from Chinese encroachers . Its been more than 57 year we have been living in Arunachal Pradesh . Now relocation is not possible , Chakmas did't came to India. They were brought by Indian Government and settled in NEFA .During Partition of India Chakmas demand to be part of India but due to lack of Indian politicians ,CHT Chakmas became part of Bangladesh .

Who said chakmas were brought to India?? It was due growing population of Muslim in Bangaldesh and when they are started killing Chakmas living in that area , so basically the chakmas has no place to except to run from their own land. Also it was not the decision of NEFA it was Assam government who distrbuted chakmas in both Megahalaya and Arunachal pradesh. Insteading of arguing you people should thank Arunachal pradesh people for taking your burden for more then 50 year. But since Bangladesh is secular country chakmas should go bacl there.

You know it's a emotional attachment to give shelter to the refugee thinking they have also human rights as they are badly abused in their own land. The Jews are the best examples. Our own Kashmiri pandits are other bright examples. But what kind of race is the Chakmas who we never hear talking about their motherland in Bangladesh in the chittagong hill tract. 2. Usually, people who are granted refuge remain grateful to the benefactor. The best examples are the Tibetans who had come even before the chakmas and have still not forgotten their motherland and are struggling to win it back. We never hear them forcing and intimidating the government to grant them citizenship or land rights. Just contrast the Tibetans with these chakmas. They are using propaganda at national and international level with help of outside organization to defame the country and use pressure tactics to bow down the government itself using the system of the country itself. 3. In Arunachal, the consent of the then illiterate and backward locals were never sought and the consequence of forceful assimilation was never pondered upon while settling them. The result now, their decadal population growth rate is more than twice the locals and they are being extremely belligerent and hateful towards the locals with illegal and anti social activities against the locals. Hello Guruji Happy Teachers day. For your kind information: To be precise, there are more issues that is going on apart from socio economic and that is illegal encroachment of land, Burning of houses and agricultural fields of Indigenous tribal indians like Mishmi's in the Lohit district kathan area in the district border of Changlang and Lohit. They are so desperate now that they are trying to take support of banned outfits to suppress local people (as informed/stated by locals) who live with less population in the border. Last time they tried to make issues of religion when they started underway construction of stupa in disputed land while abandoning their existing stupa in their occupied area to capture larger areas. Personally I support to give citizenship of our country to them but they have to go from our State because their acts and intention is not good in the eyes of local indian tribal people ( who resided in India since time immemorial) Jai Hind Jai Bharat

Arunachal Pradesh is wholly a tribal State, which is protected under BEFR - 1873...... There are two Laws prevalent in the State....i.e Constitutional Law and Customary Law !!! How can REFUGEE expect to become aboriginal people of the Tribal land ??? ....... Refugees are not permanent residents of a place, State or a Nation !!! They are residing on someone else's land(s) for a specific period, or till the disputes of their actual lands are sorted out......BANGLADESH IS A FREE NATION NOW !!! They should thank the tribal people of the State (especially the tribes on whose lands they are living) for giving them shelter during their worst days, and should return to their ancestral lands !!! Besides, Supreme Court can persuade the State Governments for granting Citizenship to REFUGEES.....But can the court give direction to provide ST/PRC status to REFUGEES ??? Ofcourse not !!! Besides, being a protected State, even the people from other States of the nation are bound to procure ILP during their visit in the State (AP); what makes the Refugees to think that they should be provided with superior-dignity than the rest of Indians !??? Should be ashamed of their demand(s) !!! Even the United Nation (UN) has framed a DECLARATION (UNDRIP - United Nation Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People) to safeguard the traditional rights of tribal populace around the World !!! Refugees are not our (Tribal fraternity) responsibility ...... Government may give them citizenship according to their convenience, but not in the pristine Tribal State of Arunachal Pradesh......and hence, their deportation is much justified !!!

Chakma and hazong were long refugees and it's good that they are getting citizenship but it doesn't mean they will get land right in Arunachal Pradesh. They aren't ST of Arunachal Pradesh, and they won't be getting ST status too. To be honest it's been a long fight for them. And this will be another long fight for them,if they want to settle in AP. so better leave and start afresh , were they could call the land their own. neither their forefather could enjoy the land right nor them but it's now upto them,what they want to give to their children.see, after the judgement of supreme court also citizenship process has not been processed. citizenship is very imp to be eligible for getting job.this fight will go on and children of these refugees will never see the dawn. so better to take wise step, to prevent children from this pit of darkness. otherwise, coming generation will also live the same life, like them.

Chakma and hojong population has grown very rapidly within very short time. There is resources shortage and local population is totally against them. So refugees can not demand what they want from the original inhabitants of land . People who feel injustice, please kindly settle these people in your state. We will be very grateful to you.

I didn't understand what's the problem with some North eastern states. Don't they travel and live in other major cities like delhi, bengluru etc. They buy home ,land and work their, if people from every state think like that people form other states or of different ethnicity change our demography then we must relocate them. This is not how country works. India is a multi ethnic and culture country. We must not allow this kind of action/decision. In country every person must have rights to live where ever they want until there is some problem like environmental issue. These people has been living in Arunachal Pradesh for ver long time. I think govt. Should reject this plan.

Dude, India is a representative democracy. That is why Assam, a state smaller in land area than Arunachal has WAY more MPs in the Parliament than Arunachal. Chakmas are huge in numbers (compared to other tribes). And already man tribes aren't getting adequate representation in the State Assembly and the Parliament due the sheer number of ethnicities. If Chakma's are made domicile of Arunachal, they will dominate the state politics just due to their numbers.

60000 of them is just according to the papers, their population is more than 2L by now for sure. 1 mom +1 Dad = maximum kids possible is their family policy. Apart from socio-economic reasons, the rising criminal activities and insurgencies by this group is a matter or grave concern for us.. The entire episode of today's chakmas and hajong crisis in AP is due to political blunder made in 1946-47 by unjust award of cht to the then East pakistan violating boundary commission. Again, the issue had been lingering for over 57 years of living in AP now due to the dark side of democracy where "majority wins and minority is suppress". Tell me, on what ground an union law minister can uproot an entire community from their native land without their consent? Isn't this ethnic cleansing? Chakmas n hajongs are lawful citizen of india as recognised by the constitution of india where it clearly stated that under article 5 sec 3 of acquisition of indian citizenship: 1."A person born in india on or after 26july 1950 but before 1st july 1987, is citizen of india by birth, irrespective of nationality of his parents." 2. A person born in india on or after 1st july 1987 but before 3rd december 2004, is considered citizen of india by birth if either of his parents is a citizen of india at the time of his birth....n so on Now, has any one of you witnessed so far in independent india that any law or union minister did uproot an entire community(citizen by birth) because of their ethnicity violating the rule of law?? And If any such minister is ensuring his public in his independence speech of doing such for the very first time in free india then one can see the level of exploitation grossly made by the public n the incumbent govt itself. The so called indegenious people do not want to accept chakmas n hajongs on the flimsy ground that AP is protected by BEFR-1873 which restrict the non arunachalee to enter AP without inner line permit(ILP) and also restrict buying of land(ownership) to non arunachalee. These two things are protected under BEFR-1873 which is centuries old regulation now imposed by british. As per as i know, BEFR-1873 was imposed to other places as well in northeast (including jummaland CHT) like sivsagar, nawgong(nagaon), kamrup, AP, etc mainly for few reasons as follows 1. To safeguard the unique traditions of the hill people by not allowing the people from advanced societies from mainland india to mix with them. 2. to safeguard the tribal land which would otherwise have acquired by advanced societies by duping the tribals 3. To protect the timbers and other forest products * If the BEFR-1873 is scrapped for district of assam then it is clear that it is scrapable if require My interpretation now: 1. BEFR-1873 was enacted to safeguard the tribals and not only ap. chakmas were also tribals protected under BEFR-1873 2. So if govt had decided to settle the chakmas in AP relaxing BEFR-1873 (bcoz chakmas were also protected under befr) and rehabilitated there since over 57 years now where many chakmas had been born and died, is it at all possible to uproot them? Thats why i call it political gimmick and entertained for vested interest. Sometimes i wonder thinking that when people are striving to become ias, ips, mla, minister, etc we are still striving tooth n nail to get the basic right leading to a whopping gap in between ours n other societies. Please do not support relocation n appeal the central govt to solve our issue once and for all " because we wish to live n wish to flourish after consistent suffering for over 57 years

Mr aggarwal, ur video is one sided. You haven't shown any sentiments of arunachal Pradesh. Without knowing any actual ground reality, you can't just make any video. Sitting in ur home, reading articles/news, please stop throwing knowledge on such sensitive issue. Our state is a tribal state, chakma and hajongs can have home anywhere, they have international diaspora. We arunachalee have only arunachal as our only home where we live with our culture, we are discriminated across india, just by our looks. Our state is protected by BEFR act 1873. Chakma and hajongs population have exploded rapidly, in no time they can cover our tribal indigenous population. We don't want to be other tripura, sikkim, or (some parts of) assam where there original indigenous population becomes minority. Where were you when Arunachalee's where protesting since ages. They were brought without our knowledge, we didn't have any representative from our land. We will protect our home at all cost, even if it means blood, because this is our only home. Hindu and Buddhist have home all over India, but Arunachalee have only arunachal where we can live peacefully.

Chakma-Hajongs have been sheltered in Arunachal Pradesh for more than 50 years. Since Arunachal Pradesh is a protected land by constitution of India by various laws and regulations like BEFR 1873 so settling them in our land is illegal. They are foreigners, they are diluting of local population and creating danger to the lives and property of indigenous people. I appeal the Government of India to please send them back to Bangladesh otherwise there is a making of another Assam/Tripura like situation.

Government of India must honour the Judgment of Supreme court of India and INDRA-MUJIB PACT of 1972. But keeping the interest of Arunachal Tribe from demographic dilutions. The GOI must address either of this two points:- 1. Chakma and Hajong along with other Refugees like Tibetan should be given separate UNION administration status. OR 2. Should collect proper data and grant them for Citizenship aonly those who are found came before 1971 but other than these register for Citizenship, CHIN HILL Regulations 1896 and BENGALI EASTERN FRONTIER REGULATIONS 1873 should be strictly observe. Of course relocate and resettlement is out of QUESTIONS, to solve one problem can't create another like it happens with the BRU REFUGEE from Mizoram.

I would just like to laugh .. Dear Chakma & Hojang , I will only say that you will never get the citizenship (PRC) of Arunachal Pradesh and also nor Union territory. I would like to ask the Chakma & Hojang that..... who the hell are you to ask union territory areas from Arunachal Pradesh??🖕🖕🖕..... You all are refugees so behave like refugees, don't act like landlord And few words for GOI, if you (GOI) grants citizenship for Chakma & Hojang in Arunachal Pradesh then you will hurt our sentiments and would change demographic of the state and also there will be communal disharmony and second is that you (GOI) grants union territory for Chakma & Hojang in Arunachal Pradesh area then that move will destroy our state structure and most important thing is that will make the people of Arunachal Pradesh to ask independent country from India like ex:- Nagaland and J&K So choice is yours GOI Arunachal Pradesh or Refugees ( Chakma & Hojang)

After 1962 IndiChina war Chakma were settled in Arunachal and they were given arm traning and gun licence to fight against Chiniese . Indian Government know that Chakmas always have been loyal for India .

Bangladesh is now a free different country.Unlike 1965 there is elected government and Chittagong hill tracts is still there. Why don't you people go back to your native place??? Why you want to remain as refugees in other countries???

These tribal peoples are absolutely backward It's 21st century and they are still stuck in 12th century mindset... Fighting on tribe,village issues like pig, Buffaloes,Donkeys do it in Forest Like dogs urinate and capture that place, then ask others to not come here

According to CAA Chakma and Hajongs should get Indian citizens and they must . But according to Bengal Eastern frontier regulation of 1873 ,all the foreigners who wish to come and stay in Arunachal Pradesh needs to get Inner line permit . Only tribal people have right to all the resources but now chakma and. Hajong started to occupy land and enjoying all the resources of our tribal state. Sir I think u have little knowledge about Arunachal Pradesh ,so get a deeper knowledge and then u will know the reason ,why we want to relocate them. We don't want to be another tripura.
