#nameri :
Nameri National Park is a national park in the foothills of the eastern Himalayas in the Sonitpur District of Assam, India, about 35 km from Tezpur. Nameri is about 9 km from Chariduar, the nearest village.
Nameri shares its northern boundary with the Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary of Arunachal Pradesh. Together they constitute an area of over 1,000 km2 (390 sq mi), of which Nameri has a total area of 212 km2 (82 sq mi).Nameri National Park was declared as Tiger Reserve in the year 1999-2000, and is the second Tiger reserve of Assam after Manas Tiger Reserve. It has two core areas: Nameri National Park and Sonai- Rupai Wildlife (Satellite Core of the Nameri Tiger Reserve). The river Jia-Bhoroli is the lifeline of Nameri, which flows along the southern boundary of the park from northwest to southeast. In the east, the river Bor-Dikorai is a tributary of river Jia-Bhoroli, flowing along the southern boundary from northeast to southwest.
#nichiphula :
Nichiphula waterfall flow into the kameng river in a deep valley surrounded by mountains of the himalayas near Dedza, arunachal pradesh, India.
#jiabhorali :
Jia Bharali (also spelt as Jia Bhoroli) is one of the most beautiful rivers in the whole of Northeast India! I met Jia Bharali at the border where Assam shoulders with Arunachal Pradesh, two of the seven sister states of Northeast India!
The banks of Jia Bharali is dotted with dense forest, branches of which are beelined with elusive Neelkantha birds. A little downstream on Jia Bharali, you will enter the avian world of Nameri, where birding is synonymous with winning a jackpot!

#bomdila :
The Gentse Gaden Rabgyel Ling monastery, also known as Bomdila Monastery, is a remarkable religious and cultural site nestled in the state of Arunachal Pradesh, India. Established in 1965, this monastery holds immense significance as a bastion of the Mahayana school of Buddhism and a focal point for Lamaistic faith.
This sacred haven closely resembles the Tsona Gontse Monastery in South Tibet, serving as a testament to the enduring influence of Buddhism across geographical borders. The central masterpiece of the monastery is the Buddha temple, a site of pilgrimage for countless devotees. Its construction can be attributed to the 12th reincarnation of the Tsona Gontse Rinpoche.
The Bomdila Monastery comprises a central prayer hall, which serves as the primary space for meditation and peace prayers. Additionally, it houses a temple containing the Buddha deity and provides residential quarters for the monks. Within these halls, senior lamas impart their wisdom to young monks, teaching them the intricacies of Buddhism and various tantrayana practices.
Inside the monastery, a dedicated prayer hall serves as a sacred space for the Lamas to engage in their devotions and rituals. Beyond its architectural splendor, Bomdila Monastery comes alive during several festivals. Losar, which marks the New Year in the Monapa calendar and spans 15 days, is a particularly joyous occasion. Saka Dawa, celebrated during the fourth month of the lunar calendar, commemorates the Buddha’s enlightenment. The Lhabab Duechen festival, occurring in the ninth month of the calendar, honors his reincarnation in the form of Shakyamuni.
Bomdila Monastery stands as a shining beacon of the Mahayana Buddhist tradition. Within its hallowed walls, esteemed Lamas impart wisdom on various facets of Buddhism, including tradition, prayers, tantrayana practices, and other specialized subjects. The term “Lama” is synonymous with a Dharma teacher in Tibetan Buddhism, akin to the Sanskrit word “guru.”
This sacred haven bears a striking resemblance to the Tsona Gontse Monastery in South Tibet, a testament to the enduring influence of Buddhism transcending borders. The monastery’s centerpiece is the Buddha temple, a pilgrimage site for countless devotees. Its construction can be attributed to the 12th reincarnation of the Tsona Gontse Rinpoche.
