Welcome to Day 5 of my Aruba travel vlog series! Today, we dive into the heart of Aruba, exploring the vibrant Downtown Playa, enjoying a delicious lunch at Hooters Aruba, and wrapping up the day with an exquisite dinner at La Terrazza Italiana.
Our adventure begins at the Pastechi House in Downtown Playa, known for its mouthwatering pastechies. These traditional Aruban pastries are filled with a variety of ingredients like cheese, meat, or fish, making them a perfect snack for any time of the day.
Next, we hop on the Aruba Downtown Tram for a sightseeing tour. The tram takes us through the charming streets of Oranjestad, offering stunning views of the colonial architecture, colorful buildings, and local shops. This free tram service is a fantastic way to see the highlights of downtown Aruba.
After our tram tour, we head to Palm Beach, one of Aruba's most famous beaches. Known for its soft white sand and crystal-clear waters, Palm Beach is a hub of activity with numerous resorts, restaurants, and shops. Here, we grab lunch at Hooters Aruba, enjoying their famous wings and beachside atmosphere.
In the evening, we make our way to Paradise Beach Villas for dinner at La Terrazza Italiana. This restaurant offers a beautiful Italian dining experience with stunning views of the ocean. For my entree, I had the Caprese con Prosciutto di Parma, a delightful combination of fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, and prosciutto. For the main course, I enjoyed the rich and creamy Linguine Alfredo with smoked salmon.
