Azerbaijan is not an Islamic country. It is secular and the conflict is not a religious one. It's more so ethnic and territorial. I think Pakistan and other Islamic countries support Azerbaijan purely because Azeris are historically Muslim, despite them not being very religious now and also being mostly Shi'ites. India also has problems with ethnic separatism in its own country, does it not?

The Karabakh conflict is a question of ethnicity, while nationalist conflicts in Spain (which are declining hardly) are caused linguistical and cultural differences made by stupid politicians and lefties. We Spaniards are one people, but culturally diverse. Also, those lands belonged to Armenia before the Mongols (Turks) came from their steppes.

I feel sorry for what the people there have to go through especially since both Armenians and Azeris had mostly live alongside one another for centuries. Peace is the way, not war.
