I have epilepsy but I missed the warning ... I know how to avoid it in cases like this (where lights get progressively faster) but it did weird me out that a kpop MV would make me close my eyes :O

@@youji01 You know, I'm not sure. I've seen both, like I've seen some where they were definitely added by fans. You might be right though, the warning isn't in all captions for all languages but it does have English, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese. 🤔

​@@ada-gamez artms is made out of 5 members from loona. the other 7 members went solo (chuu and yves) or debuted in another group, loossemble. basically their former company bbc was terrible to them and the members all risked their careers and filed lawsuits to get their contracts suspended, and now they're back and making music again. it's very bittersweet

epilepsy warning aside, i feel like this rly does represent what i think a virtual angel would look like as a video - stunning visuals that are too hard to look at for too long, flashing images that you aren't able to fully process, kind of like a "biblically accurate" digital celestial being :P

modhaus' concept game is no joke

First of all I'm very much aware of reality and living in my own life with friends and family. I'm just explaining what I thought, the reason why this mv is addictive. When I first watched the MV, I felt like it was a direct, painful call-out, almost like a personal attack acknowledging the reality of our (fan-idol) one-sided relationship. This hurt deeply because it felt like the group was telling me to go away and face the truth that they don't know me personally. However, this acknowledgment also made me feel seen and validated, as if they understood my hopeless love for them. Despite the pain, this validation created an even closer connection, making it feel like they accept and recognize my feelings. This paradoxically drew me in more, making the relationship feel more personal and closer. As a result, I kept watching the MV repeatedly, chasing that feeling of closeness. The emotional impact and validation became addictive, keeping me deeply engaged. This strategy by the group is genius and shameless, as it creates organic promotion and sustained interest without additional effort. By confronting the harsh reality, they ironically strengthened my emotional bond and loyalty to them. It's a brilliant tactic that leaves me (fan) feeling more connected than ever.

I think one of the reasons it's edited like this is so you don't catch everything at once and absorb something new with every watch. After addictively watching this version over and over again. I can honestly say I appreciate how they actually took the time to choose what scenes to cut in and out so fast. Watching closely they didn't just randomly place in the jump cuts. AND they literally go to the beat. This shit is bananas. So damn good and genius 😩

good concept, I understand what the editor was going for... perfectly fits the Virtual feel, the screen door effects, the old tv effects, pictures popping in and out... love it. might be a bit excessive but love it!

I think the main issue is that the camera shots/framing and the position all the girls are in throughout the different scenes that keep being switched between are all very different which makes it feel abit jarring/your eyes are darting everywhere to try and keep track of what's going on instead of being able to focus on one area of the screen. Results in a bit of vertigo/sickness/visual overload (in a bad way). Needs to be more flow. But apart from that I love it. And yeah the concept behind this video was definitely giving life flashing before your eyes vibes.

I also understand what the editor was going for, but I think if they used a lot of match-cuts in this mv instead of a jarring amount of straight cuts (I do love the straight cuts don't get me wrong, but it's a bit overwhelming), it would have not only been not painful to watch, but also get the theme of distortion between virtual and reality across very effectively. Nevertheless, this mv and song is going to be my new obsession for the whole summer lol.

정대표님이 기획한 뮤비를 보면 아이돌과 팬의 관계에 관한 설명을 하는 것 같다 아니 의문을 던지는 것 같다 "왜 아이돌을 좋아하니?"라고 이 뮤비에서는 자신의 불우한 환경에서 도망치는 도피처라고 생각하는 것 같다 . 아이돌을 좋아하는 이유는 다양하지만 이건 일부분을 표현한 것 같다. 어째든 아이돌을 좋아하는 것은 안식처 또는 긍정적으로 표현 된것 같다.

Its really not that bad. Its just the chorus that makes you blink and tear up because they are angels. and angels are so cosmic in grandeur, you die and ascend enlightened.

The song is really good. I will never watch this MV again, even though it's beautiful, probably full of lore references, and has lots of mysteries; it's a seizure waiting to happen. But the song is really good. edit: it's fixable but difficult. i really hope someone else gets a watchable version up, but if not i'll try it this weekend.

mv is very trippy, definitely needs a couple of rewatches to adjust to the abrupt cuts. but in that way, they simultaneously tell two stories without splitting the screen or playing out scenes one by one, it's something that has never been done before and I appreciate it:)
