An arty trip to London to visit the Sargent and Fashion exhibition at the Tate Britain!
We had a lovely time exploring the city and getting to see so many iconic paintings, excited to get back to the studio and work on some master studies:)

Love Singer Sargent's work. Which is obviously why I like your work too.
7:52 one of my favourite paintings, spent A LOT of time staring at it at the national gallery up here🥰Sargent was a master painter with all the different fabrics he had to paint soo many paintings to get lost in
Love that the lamp in your airbnb is similar to those in Carnation Lily Lily Rose!
I've never seen a Sargent up close with my own eyes, only in the books I have and the internet which includes your wonderful video. Hopefully one day I will, but until then, videos like yours and others on youtube will have to do. Thank you.

I hope you get the chance to one day🤞❤️
Beautiful artworks. They're almost like photographs. London architecture is also amazing. Thank you for bringing us along.
I went to a Hockney exhibition at the Tate. I walked past Sargent’s lanterns and never made it to Hockney. Mesmerisingly beautiful

I love that! Completely understand, I could spend hours in front of it ❤️
Thank you so much for this beautiful video! I’ve only seen the well known Sargent’s paintings, so it was mind blowing to see all the new (to me😂) works…I teared up as well! What must it be like to have such talent at your fingertips?!!❤️🔥

Yes there were a couple there that I didn’t know existed! Truly a huge privilege to see them in person🥹 I’m glad I’m not the only one to get emotional!!
Thank you for this video. I enjoyed seeing Sargent's works. I miss going to art galleries. Especially the Tate. I live too far away now. Really appreciated.

Haha that’s brilliant, I’ll have to make sure he stars in every video🐕🦺
Great video! Loving the music👌so relaxing 😁👍
Wonderful, I wish I was able to visit. I remember going to a similar exhibition at the palazzo Strozzi in Florence. That was in 2012, they had Sargent and a number of other American impressionists. Seeing the master works with my own eyes was an unforgettable experience. I was so impessed I actually went twice, it was absolutely worth it.
Wow those paintings are insane.

There is one artist that surpasses Sargent and that is French artist William Bouguereau...His paintings are so sublime and to me surpasses all other artists. He painted hundreds of paintings....all so very beautiful. Check him out. I have the definitive book on his work.
enjoyed the vlog, keep up the good work. you are going in the right direction.

I think you should start issuing "Izzy's b-roll Inspo Painting Challenges" to us viewers, for moments like @04:02. Sargent is a huge deal, centuries later for a reason, a lot of reasons actually, just like you listed. I particularly like the closeup @7:56, where the model's like, "I see you over there buddy. I've got your number!" What an expression!! I hope you can get your fellow artist friend to come out of her shell and start showing her work. Great video as usual!!

@@izzywebberart I think I may be a little obsessed with your closeup of Madame Subercaseaux at the piano. That's way closer than any downloadable print goes. As kids, a friend and I used to hang out with one of the music teachers at our school, who used to demonstrate a piece with both hands, and while he was playing, he would turn all the way around staring at us, kind of like Madame. Your tour was quite revealing. Sargent really ticks all the boxes, doesn't he?
