​@MustSeeHeaven I have the XM5 and it all comes to the user you want base heavy XM4 you want clean clear crisp audio and great call quality you get the XM5 I have them and find them better than both XM4 and XM3

Which is better in sound quality ? Xm4 vs Xm5 vs Airpods max vs Edifier stax spirit s3 ? and why exactly ?

I love Sony's headphones I wish their 360 reality tech was used more because at least with me I can definitely tell a difference when it's not in use. Great review by the way.

Returned XM5 after two days of struggle with auto NC and bought another XM4. They are the best!

XM3 are the best...still

I much prefer the bose qc 35 ii and qc 45 for comfort and amazing noise cancelling

I was debating between the XM5 and the XM4 because the 5XM is a little better but they say it is really uncomfortable on the head and hard to wear and do hot spot on the head. I would love to know your opinion because if it is true the XM4 is probably worth it

When talking about the pricing you said the xm4 was retailing for 400$, I'm assuming you ment to say the xm5n they're often on sale for around 350 l, I got mine for only 300.

Are the earcups too shallow? Because a lot of KZreadrs are saying that due to the earcups being shallow the ears touch the drivers

That’s interesting. The padding around the ear cup is definitely a bit thinner both in depth and the width of the ring so it’s possible that affects some head/ear shapes. My ears do touch the screen the drivers sit behind slightly but they also did in the previous gen. I haven’t noticed any discomfort though

Can't sculpt without a pair of cans. Don't know why but it's mandatory equipment.

I've got XM3's and have owned them since December 2018 - what am I missing by not upgrading?

Same here - I have the XM3s and see no real reason to upgrade (unless the ANC is remarkably better on the new model!)

I also bought around the same time and apart from some wear and tear the device is still going strong, by comparison my apple homepod didn’t survive after 2 years. I also had a JBL headphone before and it also started dying after 1 year. I hope they don’t downgrade the product durability like apple is doing with their products

@@johnleggett5054no there are many reasons why a newer product is better than the older version😂it is like saying hey I am driving a 1980 Chevy and I don’t know why I would upgrade to a 2024 vehicle it won’t be any better😂

@@houman2009your comparison isn’t valid, you talk about 44 years gap, and that’s a car! But 3 years different between these products isn’t much. We are talking about sound quality here!

I was in Sony centre today .. i tried XM5 and I really dont understand why premium headphones sounds so bad .... XM4 sounds better but overall my cheap Souncore Q30 sounds excellent... cant understand this :/

I'm no expert but it does feel like bluetooth has an upper limit to sound quality. Hopefully we see some new technology that closes the gap between corded and wireless headphones in the future

Call quality is much better on the XM5s vs the XM4s.
