Aloha Jorge! Halle IS the one who played the lead in The Little Mermaid. The song is about her own baby - she recently gave birth to him. I'm sure others are more well-equipped to fill in the details about her and this project. Blessings from Kauai.

Some of your comments made sense. She initially wrote the song about her relationship and love. She later added some lyrics that made her think of her son.

Halle has some wonderful music with her sister, who she performs with as a duo act. I'd recommend two of their tracks if you're interested. Sidenote; Halle is in fact the actress who played the Lil Mermaid. Great reaction & observation. Some of the emotions that was felt was what she was experiencing via hateful backlash she was receiving as a result of getting the Mermaid movie role. Also, she's not a single mother, this song was actually about both her husband & child. She's a 23year old indie-pop/r&b artist from Atlanta Georgia. Chloe X Halle -Fall Chloe X Halle- Cool people
