Intetesting chat. I think one of BIGBANG's major influences comes from their song Lies. Before that, I read that mainstream kpop was predominantly mid-tempo ballads. Lies changed kpop for ever and I read someones research recently that traced the musical influence of that song right into 4th gen. music. Also, did you know that from their last album, MADE, 9 out of the 10 songs all placed within the top 3 in the korean charts - some of them competing against each other for first place. I agree that BIGBANG members are all highly talented. They also worked hard, learnt a lot from their seniors (1st gen) in YG, like Se7en, and have continued to work hard and be committed to high quality music and performance ever since.

VIP feel free to correct me if i say anything wrong in this. About Seungri scandals, you can read it from like better sources. If you read it from like korean medias, most of them are twisted. Coming from vip this maybe sounds like im being bias, i disliked him for quite some times when i heard out about it. But then i just discovered from someone who really dig deep on the case i thought this person was being obsess trying to sugercoat the fact but no this person really did total research, so i go around looking for more details about it. I read awhile ago so i dont remember much details but this is what i can recall. Turns out yeah he innocent in some parts. how he was just the face of the club and he have few shares of the club but he was not charged for the rape scandals. The witness and victims says Seungri never been involed in those. I had to say this because most of people have wrong fact about Seungri saying he is rapist and sorts. Seungri was charged for facilitating prostitution for investors, and also for gambling overseas using illegal foreign exchanges. As i said before he had few shares of the club, so which means he is the partial owner of the club. But it is said that he have no knowledge about it, thus he denied the allegations in the court but of course court prosecutors cannot just let him let loose they had to. So back to the real rapists, they were singer and idols too but they werent getting as much hate as seungri is despite seungri was not even guilty of it. Maybe because seungri is a much bigger artist, they just hate on him somehow and people spread lies about him, especially kmedia and knetz. When burning scandals were mention, you would see Seungri being in the center of it when the rapists and the owner of the club who should be. You would see people using seungri as thumbnail and somehow try to twist the stories made it about seungri. Its so weird. Like they just trying to get in the bigbang popularity. Not just seungri tho, back in 2016 TOP was found unconcious as he tried to end his life. He was struggling with his mental health. He was coping with weed to help himself. Of course since weed is illegal in south korea, he received so much hate for it. Knetz was very brutal on it. They sign a petition for TOP to end his life. Knetz is a huge bullies. Even until now 2023, knetz still hate on him. When he already served his punishment, and apologized since 2017. When recently he was casted in Squid Games season 2 , omg those mean comments doesnt stop. Vips decided to stand for TOP, #RespectChoiSeungHyun was trending on twitter despite the fact vips rarely does this, they were fired up by those bullies. TOP is an amazing actor, he really did deserved being part of the cast. Thank you for reading.

The man is not a saint but he was just a human that fell into temptation. His family was bancrupt when he was a kid and during BigBang survival show he didnt even had money for a bus ticket home . He was like 14 sleeping in the bus stop . Also in BigBang everyone is successful solo and he made up his mind he wanted to be a business man . The fame , money atracts a lot of "friends" and he made bad choices of business partners . Yes he should have known better but he was like 25 , he liked the parties , the attention . The media in search for views and sales mixed together several cases , most of them not connected and used Seungri as central figure because he was the most famous person they can somehow asociate . There was a sexual assault case done by other idols. His name still gets associated with that despite the fact that he was not even called as a witnes at that trial . The media builded him such a vilain image that the prisecution had to give him a sentence in any was possible . For this they mixed together many allegations because separate they were not serious enough to go to jail for . His business parners got suspended sentences . Behind the fancy legal names he got convicted of tax evasion , declaring a club a restaurant to pay less tax, embezelment of company money , gambling and that he knew his business partners hire prostitutes . There was never any accusation anyone for forced to sleep with anyone . A lot of people testify at the trial that they were actualy pressured by police to put Seungri's name and that after like 24 h of interogation they just said and signed anything .

​@@yallhearingthisthis info is true, VIP fandom have our legal committee, one of the Fandom lawyer works with seungri's lawyer during the trial. The official group chat of VIPs were updated to what happened in the hiring. Photos of the papers of what the conviction is, and what is dismissed, the evidence were sent to the gc, so the vips who is in their, is well aware of what happened. But what info given on the gc will stay in the gc, and for those vips whos in there, were warned not to talk about it yet and such.. So we encourage vips before to never reasoned out in whatever argument they will encounter in social media

I've been listening to red hot chili peppers too lmao for seungri case actually the witnesses n the so called prostitutes denied the involvement of seungri. anyways just want to tell you, I'm not speaking this as a VIP but for a long time Korean entertainment viewers. Korean justice system is super crack n media n police have framed many ppl regardless artists or commoners to the jail by triggering social pressure because they need to safe face for if that person is actually innocent then public will question their ability or why did they accuse in the first place. this happened to many artists as well that the media ruined their careers n finally found them to be innocent. btw, recently gd case is also a good example. he's already tested negative but police still try to find any fault to safe face. and that's why it's fishy to me when seungri case go on for like 3yrs and received harsh punishment for casual gambling. also, the real sexual assaulter of the case who raped multiple girls is Kim sang kyo is a rich guy was only convicted for 1yr n a few months. because public n media was drawing attention to seungri instead. also, many artists commited suicide cause sometimes they were forced to provide sex service to high authority (police/president/businessmen) n at the same exact time when jang jayeon case got brought up again, this is when seungri's case happened. the hypocrisy is that the case was only reported to the police in 2019 but the case was claimed to happened in 2015. n seungri was so busy w tour n stuffs in 2015 n I wonder how does he have time to do crimes. so don't believe everything Korean media n justice system state because they have been famous in convicting innocent ppl to raise their rank faster than even netizens call them out

@@yallhearingthis yea. he's targeted cause he's famous. it's to cover up Korean president's mother in law's case. if you're interested you can look it up. everytime some famous artists have some baseless allegations it's always cause they are bigger news happening

For a Seungri case report that doesn't exonerate or persecute, but is imo objective, balanced and factual, I highly recommend the BUS |N ㅌSS MㅣRRㅇR. For the latest see 2023/02/09 called Seungri Re-enters Society. The writer has degrees in law and political science and is very familiar with facts, as also wrote court reports 3 times during the court case. Sadly, I think that the ₩ㅣKㅣ content is a little misleading on certain things and in the terminology used.
