I am being guided by my spirit, And I only speak of what I know. I will not create a narrative about the people who made these stones because I do not know.
This history is not just mine, it is all of ours and deserves respect and acknowledgment. How could we not acknowledge the accomplishments of our ancestors? It’s how we became who we are! Thank you to all the subscribers, the likes, the kind words and support. It’s been an amazing experience sharing this with you, you guys are the best!!!
Do you know the difference between the spirit and soul?
Your Soul is what you are in your life. The poor old soul… The wise soul.
Your spirit is what goes on to heaven. Our spirit lives on and our soul dies with the body.
That’s the way the Native Americans told it.
Do you think they may have learned it from the ancients? The history of both people were passed down through the stories and words of the people.
That’s what these rocks are for, these Knowledge Stones. It is a language that shows the past. It invokes emotions that tell a story as real as if you’re reliving it now. Let’s come together and find a way to share and teach this art and history.
The purpose of this channel and video is to save an ancient archaeological site that is being excavated currently for a housing development in North Carolina. Please see channel description for contact information and ways to help
We used to think the world was flat and that Ancient People were not intricate and intelligent. They learned how to manipulate nature far better than we have. We became this way because we stand on the shoulders of giants. Is it so hard to believe that those giants were highly intelligent? Do you think of yourself as highly intelligent and your family as highly intelligent? Where do you think all that came from?
Our ancestors were not just a bunch of caveman, it took work to get where we are at, And we’ve been at it for a long time!
There’s so many things there that sometimes it’s tough to see them. Do you catch anything that we’re missing?
Check out more faces in the stone and Native American artifacts in every way you can!
We cannot let history be smudged away. These are works of art and this culture is still being lost today.

It is absolutely amazing how they used the natural inclusions in the stone. I have seen many photos of the cave dwellings in France. They actually used the shape and and out cropings of the cave walls to give the paintings dimension. I have never seen anything like it.

Yes, the portable art resembles the cave art in many ways. It’s the same 3-D style, and sometimes it takes a while to understand what it depicts. It’s a smart, environmental and interactive art. I like it because they were like puzzles. Thank you for leaving a comment! Go check out his channel guys!

@@FacesintheStone That is what attracted me to your channel I noticed your eye for that art. This spring I plan on trying my hand at some prehistoric type painting on stones to mimic what I saw in those documentaries of cave paintings.

We started with fish. It's a yin/yang relationship I believe man/woman, fish/bird. Cat/dog. I am so impressed by your collection.

Thank you, I found it one single site in North Carolina that was being destroyed for housing development. They took out a 70 foot wide 40 foot tall 300 ft long pyramid that is surrounded by smaller pyramids and mounds and rock clusters. There is a Megalithic statue pile that has just been destroyed. The mound was made from the soil they took out to make the creeks where all the Effigys are placed in Clay. They were terraforming. Creating creeks.

1:01 Wow! Woodcock/Phoenix and Raven! And Raven has Orion at his back. We won't see that until January 2024 ... but it's a sign. The other I believe we should see by this next summer.

The projectile point at 2:39 was a much older piece. They hadn't quite mastered the weight to areodynamics ratio so they compensated by offsetting the center of gravity with lobes of mass of the stone. So arodynamics wasn't perfected but the offset weight opposing the axis gave it rotation. Kinda like a boomerang in theory.

Beautiful stones! Love the way you describe them. Showing what you see in the stones. Why were birds so important in their art? Maybe that deserves its own video. Thanks

Thank you Mario. The people with bird hats are common actually in North America. I think the birds were the protectors of the tribe. Still today, many tribes, and nations, where the bird hats and headdresses in their ceremonies. That area of North Carolina does have a lot of birds as well! It’s different than out here in south Raleigh… Much more, and it’s only an hour away… I believe it was a ceremonial site.
