Articulated Dragon.
The nymphs of dragonflies belong to the order Odonata and receive the common name of Dragon Flies. They are a very important food source for trout in those lakes or lagoons that have abundant aquatic vegetation or areas covered by them, the reeds are usually populated by thousands of these fish larvae and choose these fields to feed. Because they can have a considerable size reaches 5 cm in some cases they are usually a favorite snack for trout sharing environments. In rivers they are less common but are usually present in those sectors rivers or streams slow to moderate with areas where the bottom structure has a stable dense aquatic vegetation. The most common colors for these larvae are olive and brown.

Hola Ruben. As you can see by the date it's been some time since I paid you a compliment. But all your ties are very fine, so is this one. I watched you tie the rabbit leech, (Bunny Leech) a few days ago, the one with two strips cross cut and long cut method, love these flys. Thank you Ruben.

Awesome! Love your videos. How do you come up with the way you make your flys?
That's too bad Ruben. It really is some great material and would really work well with you style of tying.
Ruben: have you thought about purchasing some of J:Son Sweden's nymph materials? I think that due to the style of your flies and the techniques you use, you would be well served to at least check into them. Cheers!
Hola Ruben, que marca son las patas de ninfas que usas?
Hola Ruben! con que pintas las patas de goma? es barniz mezclado con pintura?

+Ruben Martin Muchas gracias Ruben, lo voy a tener en cuenta!
Just wondering, with those lead eyes riding on top of the hook it will ride hook up. Why then did you put the wing case on as if it would ride hook down? It seems to me at least that it would ride hook up. The tail is in the round but the body is not. All the best, great dressing. I really like the supplies and just wondering if I am incorrect about the way the fly will ride? Sean

In a current I imagine it will ride hook up, hook down, sideways, head up, head down, yaw, roll, dip, dive, swing, pause..

Muchas gracias Ruben!!! Aprovecho para felicitarte por el arte que haces en cada mosca y agradecerte por compartir con nosotros!!!
Nice looking fly. Would GREATLY enhance viewing if you could take a couple of minutes to list all items used - particularly the special items like the LEGS! Looked everywhere and could not find those legs or any suitable substitute. Some help please.
