Even POK should be included.

Any law is made thinking for the betterment of the people in mind but if the betterment was achieved after abrogation or removal of that law then that law should be abrogated or never restored.

Waste of Indian taxpayers money.

Waiting for the day CJI says the same about reservation that it was only meant for 10 years and scrap it

Finally what will happen is known to all.... pure academic debate happening in the SC.. wasting precious time of the courts. They should rather give bail to those people who are incarcerating in jails without even charge sheated. If Mr Sheshan was a SC judge instead of an IAS babu n CEC, he would have brought down the jumlas to their knees. We need people with great courage in all such constitutional positions.

Wait? What augur told you that the courts will not change the outcome of the abrogation? They certainly have the power to. And the deliberations so far seems to me to be pointing towards the courts deciding against the government's action.

The fact that had to be included in the Constitution and not objected by the monarchy or his assembly proves that the accession was permanent. The exceptions of legislative lists which other kingdoms who acceded was recognised till they merged to make a state . Conditions of Privy purses continued till they chose not to challenge when abolished. 370 is. At par with privy purses hence can be abolished .

Article 370 was a treaty which had no place in a Constitution. Its intent and content should have been a separate document. Hence 370 is an invalid inclusion. How it survived there is by merely political maneuvers. A mistake which many eminent Lawyers know but are pleading otherwise and wasting time. Indians cannot allow a separate constitution in any state. There should be only one constitution. Other states are not inferior in any manner to JK

Article 370 is the by product of Accession treaty between union of India and jk. It infact is the application part of the accession designed by the framers of constitution. Now if Article 370 is temporary it by all reason signfies that Accession treaty concluded with union of india was temporary and also legal Sovereignty which was transferred to union of india by virtue of accession treaty is also temporary.

The accession paper was same for every part of the country with no special status. Art 370 was added in the constitution in 1954. Have some knowledge b4 u speak.

I wish Supreme court's time will be effectively utilised and not to be wasted too long(like the one happening now by congress and other oppn to have power over J&K) for the sack of political game plays.

Aby mistake in handling the Affairs of JK affairs in the Aston need to be ratified with love and not by might or hatred if the crown of the country is dearer than electoral politics

India is one and if you don't like to live as an Indian read what the Canadian Prime minister said once when Muslims demonstrated against Canadian laws you are ftee leave India and migrate to the Countries like Pakistan or to any other Countries that is suitable to your religion or culture. You or for that matter anybody who think that Hindus are against other religious culture they can leave India I am sure no body is going to stop you. We would like to live in harmony with every one. Which means JK needed India's military protection for FREE!? Is that possible? JK took undue advantage of both India and it's own people by that arrangement in 370 ultimately decimating the future of the JK state and making it a base for anti India activities. So it had to end whether there was 370 or not.

The oral remark of CJI about article 370 not as permanent feature is too early while the arguments are on the way. Any remark by CJI during arguments must be in nature of doubt clarification but should not be like preset order in mind !!!
