Low honor help John is the Arthur who is loyal to the gang but doesn't give af about anyone else, you know like an actual criminal gang member would be. That's how I played it

No, he was just more honest and kind. High Honor Arthur was significantly more powerful. High Honor Arthur was the one who slashed Micah's eye out.

@@taylorodonnell3765 no, just in the mission, Red Dead Redemption, there’s a choice, Go Back For Money, where you go back to Beaver Hollow for the money, or Help John Get To Safety, where you go with John. If you have high honor and choose Go Back For Money, during the fight sequence with Micah, Arthur actually slashes Micah’s eye out, in which Micah says, “Oh, you got me pretty good Black Lung.”

Nothing beats the “it would mean a lot to me”

Arthur was like a samurai. He knew the end was near and he still rode out and fought.

I remember I took off Arthur's hat in the last missions so he would look more "human" but on the last mission he literally took his hat out and wore it back...there was no way I was taking it off

I know it’s not here but the quote “Go to your family and be a god damn man” always gets me.

I like to think low honor Arthur was putting on a tough persona so it'd be easier for John to leave and not feel guilty

I feel like Arthur is a whole lot cooler at bad honer, but I always change it too good honer after the diagnosis cuz I just would hate him dying because of Micah and not peacefully of TB

Bad honor wouldn't even make sense the game is red dead "Redemption" II the mission's name is Red dead "Redemption"

You can tell high honour is canon since the low honour version sounded added in after they made the high honour lines

@@RuRtRded Pretty sure he was referring to those who were part of the main 'core' part of the gang, who'd been there for a long time, who got out with a future and options. Bill, Javier, Micah and Dutch? They all are still crooks, still horrible people, who are going to go RIGHT BACK to their old tricks. Marston? He's got a family to look after that should keep him out of trouble. It did keep him out of trouble, aside from when the rat poked his nose out of his hole. After that affair Marston wanted to go right back to staying out of trouble. Ross didn't let him. The ending of RDR1 is Marston coming to the realization that Ross, and whoever follows him, won't let him go back to staying out of trouble, no matter how much good he does, no matter how much he's changed. The others that got out were either not majorly involved in the criminal activities of the gang, or weren't the type to be involved in the extremes the gang had sunk to, without Dutch's influence. They weren't ones that people would bother chasing down, weren't rotted the way the core of the gang was. It also makes little sense at that point to mention the ones who got out that Dutch informed Arthur of the leaving of.

Low Honor seems to be implying he actually does still want the money but has accepted going back for it is pointless at this point.

Imagine if Arthur’s grave was on beachers hope though it would be impossible imagine

I had dead middle honor and still got this exact same ending as the high honor

thats probably because the game pushes you to have high honor so if you're in the middle, they give you the good ending because despite being bad, you weren't always bad and at times did help people and be honorable

High honor is way more emotional. I prefer the high honor ending too.

You can’t cut micahs eye if you had low honor and went for the money, you will only be able to manage to cut his eye if you had high honor and went for the money instead of helping John. Anyway Arthur helping John with high honor is canon the scar in micahs eye is just a great detail of the game

The only difference about kow and high honor is that high honor arthur is more open about his feelings and he shows that he cares for his friends while low honor is not And yeah uhm rhe amount of people they killed... Thats another difference they have...

Another difference is that the color schemes change slightly. Low honor has almost like a grey filter
