    @@threehead99 Space programs always have delays and scope cuts. Remember how much grander the ISS (initially known as freedom station) or the Space shuttle (SLS) was supposed to be? We will get there eventually just that we need more time. Maybe a few decades or a few hundred years.

    Its already delayed and grossly over budget. Artemis, like every other government aerospace program is bloated, designed to make work for thousands of people and businesses in as many Congressperson's district as possible.

    @@waterscod259 I am enthralled by the technology which allows rocket boosters to land on ground pads or on a ship on the ocean, every time a booster lands the little boys eyes light up in pure wonder and joy, it fascinates me to watch the boosters land and to see how far we've advanced with technology, thanks for your reply, I really appreciate it.

    I was born in 1964 and still remember the Apollo 11 moon landing to this day. Have been a fan of space ever since and wish I could have worked in the field. Hoping for an exciting future!

    I’ve been waiting since the end of the 1970’s for a return to the moon and a Mars mission. That’s over 40 years. I can’t imagine what this has been like for those NASA engineers and administrators who have seen program after program canceled. I hope it’s real this time.

    All the contracts and projects are fully funded they have been since 2016. They just granted the last ones which were for the gateway launch. Everything has already been funded.

    Obama Spaghetti “everything nasa is doing, SpaceX has accomplished” SpaceX had their first manned launch less than a year ago I don’t think they’re capable of doing manned moon missions “any day”, Elon said the absolute earliest would be 2026 for a manned Mars mission if everything goes perfectly which it usually doesn’t
