Artemis Resources identifies potential large lithium resource at Osborne JV

Artemis Resources Ltd (ASX:ARV) executive director George Ventouras sits down with Proactive’s Jonathan Jackson to discuss results of a soil reconnaissance program following rock chip sampling at the Osborne joint venture (JV) project in Western Australia. Results suggest a significant envelope of lithium resources along the Osborne South trends, with a strike length of approximately 4 kilometres and a width up to 1.3 kilometres. Peak lithium-in-soil results reached 712 parts per million (ppm) lithium oxide (Li2O), with multiple samples exceeding 300 ppm. Artemis is exploring Osborne in a JV with Greentech Metals Ltd, holding 49% and 51% stakes respectively.
Heritage clearance at the Mt Marie lithium and Lulu Creek gold prospects was completed on schedule and within budget. Ventouras noted the continued high-grade mineralisation in the Osborne South trends, which could indicate a large lithium resource envelope. The company plans heritage surveys over drill targets at Osborne and discussions with drilling companies for exploration at Lulu Creek and Mt Marie.
Previous rock chip samples from Mt Marie showed up to 4.67% lithium while Lulu Creek drilling intercepts included 1 metre at 4.89 g/t gold and 12.7 g/t silver from 24 metres, and 1 metre at 1.15 g/t gold from 9 metres. Lulu Creek is also supported by a co-funding drilling grant from the government, lowering exploration costs.
