Artem has just informed me that they maintain the same consistent material across both their classic and loopless straps. This means that even their classic straps would now have the updated shiner finish of the loopless ones as reviewed here!

I also have an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra with the standard rubber strap and deployant. I installed the Omega deployant onto the Artem blue/white loop-less, and it fits and works wonderfully. It makes the Artem look like an OEM strap. LOVE IT!

Artem Deployant Clasp appears shorter than the Omega version. I recently bought a Hamilton Clasp which is a cheaper copy of the Omega Clasp and it's a bit too large for my son's small wrist (16.5cm). However, when open, he can just get his hand through. I suspect the Artem clasp would not provide a large enough opening given it is shorter.

The Hamilton clasp is literally a cheaper version of the Omega clasp. Both brands are owned by the same large company, the Swatch group.

Hate the shiny finish on the black straps, wish it was satin/matte like the green :(

Really thinking about ordering an Artem. Can you let me know your wrist size for comparison? I have a small wrist and the strap length is a concern for me. Thanks! Great video!

Sure. My wrists are about 6.75inches on average (depending on temperature, etc.). Hope this helps!

They now make a shorter strap. I just got one for a 6” wrist and it fits very well.

There's nothing cheap about the strap, it's sailcloth so it may not be for everyone. It's slightly stiff when new because of the padding. It does mould to your wrist shape after about 3 days of wear.

I think the shinyness makes them look cheap. Previously they had a lovely warm satin finish. The hard gloss makes them look like plastic moulded junk.
