You give great advise…your painting style / method is very helpful…I disagree about oil paint…you can fix, alter, adjust, tweek an oil painting until you arrive at the next black hole…the thing you can do with acrylic is paint over it…that has been my experience..thanks and be safe..

Thanks for sharing your experience! I'm new to acrylics, may I ask you if you add water to your colors or use them from the tube? And why you start with very dark background? Thanks!!

Hi there and thank you, I mix all my colours but don’t add water, I like my paint thick like oil paint, and I start with a dark background to let the darks show through and show up the lights. hope this helps. 🎨😀

Is this acrylic? I didn’t see any list of colors you are using in this painting. Also if using acrylic, did you use any extender?

Yes they are acrylics, no extender and I mix every single colour from several colours so I just usually mention the basic colours. 😊

Talk a little bit about your brushes. I’m intrigued about the beat up ones.

I will Arlene, lol that’s funny, yes, some of my brushes are hilarious, they have bristles hanging off them and some are worn down almost to the handle, but they give amazing effects. Glad you mentioned it I’ll talk about them next video.😊
