Art of the Olmec

This video, which is part of Fordham’s Introduction to Art History class, examines the Olmec style as seen across altars, sculptures, and jade masks, and examines the relationship between altars/thrones and colossal heads.
It was created by Barbara Mundy, professor of art, and the staff of Katherina Fostano,
Digital & Visual Resources Curator, in the department of Art History and Music. Images are licensed under the fair use for education, and videos are hosted with the platform Panopto.
