one of the best museums I've ever seen. thanks for sharing
I also love the Field museum and the Shedd Aquarium. Living around Detroit, Chicago is a quick drive or train ride. I absolutely love Chicago.

@@Regina0964 It's about 5 hours from Detroit driving I90 not too bad. Amtrak also goes from Downtown Detroit and takes 6 hours. Driving used to be the cheapest way to Chicago.
The museum visits are the best!
My hometown museum. Yesterday's Main street is my favorite spot in the museum. I remember being maybe eight or nine years old and pretending that I had gone back in time. I looked out of the periscope of the U505 when it was still outside. The coalmine is absolutely worth the extra money, and I won't even get started on all the cool Mold O Rama's. I always get nostalgic and a little homesick whenever you're in Chicago. I've lived in Florida for 17 years now, but Chicago will always be home.

That’s mine too. I find it’s not as popular as others. Every time I’ve gone in the last 5 yrs it’s been basically empty at that exhibit
This is a great educational and interactive museum
Those lego sculptures were incredible. 8:05 kinda reminded me of T2 where the T-1000 froze and his hand and foot broke off in the factory. Always love the mirror mazes and how surreal they are. Those baby chicks were absolutely adorable 🐥🐣🐤 Glad you got some more Mold-A-Ramas and I love watching how they're made. The fairy castle was absolutely beautiful. Thanks Jacob and best wishes ☀️
I pretty liked the “take a tour trough switzerland machine” as a child. This thing used to stand in the swiss transportation museum in Lucerne. You have to visit this place some day when you travel over seas. 😊Greetings from Switzerland
This museum looks amazing, whenever I get back to Chicago. I’m definitely going to check it out. 👍
Again, TCB needs to be sponsored by Mold-A-Rama.
The thing that I liked most in the science museum was the transportation exhibit that one was my favorite
This Gives Me Nostalgia.
"Mr. Screamy" is somehow the modern name for "The scream" by Edvard Munch. You had all those art paintings right, which is more than what i can say. Very good! i like the shot where you sit on a bench, next to mr. brick green, and you follow his look with your body language signalling: "where is that guy looking at?" Lol.
The body slices...I was just a kid and I recall being oddly fascinated by this exhibit - my mom had to physically pull me away from it, lol. That, and I recall an explosion in the coal mine exhibit, which I did not expect...funny the things you remember!
Thanks!
This is my favorite museum ever!! Everytime I go it’s fun in a different way.
Super great vlog in the bag Carpetbagger...Very interesting!!. superb museum X
Jacob, you and your videos are top of the line! I walked through that heart that you mentioned and that doll house has always been my favorite. Thanks for all your great exploring.
I remember really liking this brick show as a little kid
I saw Art of the Brick when it was in Boston a long time ago. Very cool exhibit
Thanks Jacob!
Hey Jacob 🙂 I really like when "we" go to the museum!!!! This one impartial is so freaking awesome!!! Thanks for taking us along ✌️❤️🙂
The S&I Museum is a must-visit for me every time I get to Chicago. Haven't been up there in a few years, though. Glad to see it's still going strong.
That is pretty amazing actually. Thanks for sharing it!
The Yesterdays Main Street reminded me so much of the Streets of Old Milwaukee exhibit at the Milwaukee Public Museum. I remember you doing a video for that one and saying that you went there as a kid. At the end you mention the mail car on the train. They actually sorted the mail while the train was going from destination to destination. The mail would then go into bags which where basically hooked onto a large hook as the train rushed by whatever town the mail in that bag was destined for. My great grandfather used to be one of the mail sorters on a train route in Wisconsin. My dad got his lifelong fascination with trains from him.
Loved the train experience and the least was the sliced human.
Such a great museum ! Spend a good day in the museum back in 87, when I had friends in Chicago ! Definitely work returning Hopefully one day !
This guy is the best!
I used to live 5 blocks away from there. I even applied to work there a few times.
Big Electric Science Ball= Van de Graaff generator! (I'm shocked I remember that!) What an awesome museum. I would love to go there someday!
What a neat museum! Will put it on our list for the next time we are in Chicago.
That place looks amazing I’ll have to go
Evansville, IN. LST (WWII battleship, that was built here.), Wartime museum. regular museum. Bosse Field (where most of "A league of their own was filmed"
I cannot recommend this museum enough. We would go growing up and then I went a few times as an adult with my husband (he grew up in Indiana so had never been). I remember when they had the special movie making exhibit and my whole family was a part of it. My baby brother loved the transportation exhibit (and pioneer zephyr). We would go on the plane and pretend we were flying away somewhere. The u505 exhibit became more and more interesting as I grew up. Yesterday’s Main Street has always been my favorite because it feels like I transported back in time. I’ll miss the circus exhibit and somehow I have managed to miss out on the coal mine every single time I’ve gone 😭 but my oldest brother was terrified of it after he went as a kid.
Thanks Jacob, that's a cool Science Museum!
That sience storm looks cool
This has been educational and quite entertaining, your videos, has been, mostly entertaining.
this is amazing 😊
I grew up with 2 parents born and raised near Chicago. This museum (and the field museum + Shedd aquarium) were very regular parts of my childhood. I'm also proud to say I spent my 30th birthday at this museum. Thanks for the awesome recap of all my favorite exhibits 😃
We visited the Field Museum a few months ago. We plan on going to the Museum of Science and Industry sometime very soon. Maybe taking Amtrak from Milwaukee.
That was very enjoyable. Thank you for the tour.
Another great museum you went too. Thanks 😊 Bob Calderon
i love museums.
Awesome field trip with ya today 👏☕️✌🏻
That shirt just hit me. I live 4 miles south of catoosa.
Bricktastic
This is a GREAT museum!
Wow the Museum is the best
As a kid, every time we went there the only MoldARama they had working was the Lincoln bust.
You're in one of my favorite museums in Chicago.
2:54 newton's cradle
That is a very interesting attraction. They seem to celebrate the road sind attraction. Can't go wrong there. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
I missed going there when I was visiting, due to looking for a movie location (Blues Brothers). Just ran out of time. And now I am mad for not going due to all the Mold a Matics and cool stuff.
I love your videos so much. You are the dad many wish they could have
Jacob: "When people are sliced up, they just look like country ham." Me: And the one on the bottom looks like a slab of bacon. 😀
Yeah Iv been there before when I was in middle school.
Cool place, reminds me of The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia
Top Rope Wrestling Convention. September 16th + 17th. Tampa Florida. Florida State Fairgrounds Expo Hall.
Very cool!
This was neat seeing all the Lego art.
My fave in there used to be the Paul Bunyan house but it's been gone for so long. I remember walking in and seeing his huge face in the window, and his hand on the other side gripping the house.
"overconflaguration" that's a new one
Awesome video!!!
TCB and a good museum go together like tuna and mayonnaise!
I want a Lite-Brite backpack!
25:19 If you notice on the sign, there is a laptop, an iPod, and a flip phone used for power comparison.
Verry excited for this one such fun! Absolutely love lego but there so expencive - - - Omg there should totally be like a lego library or a website to trade lego sets so you don’t have to buy them idk it seems like it’d be fun
Awesome place to be at Jake! You can’t go wrong with playing LEGOS.

Love ya
Jacob the plural of Lego is Lego there is no s. It comes from the Dutch word le got which means to play. Just a fun fact for you. Lego sold a set based on the sculpture yellow you should get it and put it in your bunker.
It will always be the Sears Tower….. #FUWillis 😂😂👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

This is off topic, but me and my sister may very well be going to Los Angeles in a couple of months, and I was wondering, aside from the big name places like Disneyland and Universal Studios, what destinations would you recommend?

My mom says that this is the Museum that they sold a bunch of mummies to individual people from. about 60 years ago.
How about a tour of Adler Planetarium if possible

Are you a wimp
Lego just announced a few days ago that they are making a Starry Night set
I wonder if the science museum has new exhibits
6:22 DEMENTIA INTENSIFIES
Did *NOT* like...the human...slices. Who came up with this idea, and why...they were completely kind of out of their mind. I know it fair for a number of people, not all. I repeat, *NOT ALL.* But, loved the chicks and the Mold-A-Rama's!
So it’s chicagos Franklin institute
