I thought to myself - there's NO way you could encapsulate all of 20th century art into 30 minutes, but amazingly Rick has managed to do it. Well researched, well presented, well written. A great precis. Well done!

The video is also missing amazing art of Eastern European dissidents who explored art styles, common to the rest of Europe, but also developing their own. Higy recommend exebitions, dedicated to Maria Prymachenko or Alla Gorska of Ukraine, if anyone has the chance to see them ❤

Love your insightful and calming videos! One slight correction: Mark Chagall wasn't russian, he was a Belarussian of jewish descent, who lived in France. Museums have a long way to go to update the information for their collection pieces to move away from colonialist past.
