While I enjoy "Fake or Fortune" very much, I absolutely adore your "Art in Isolation" series. Thank you so much for doing this. I truly appreciate how you speak not only from a position of erudition but from the heart. Not since Sister Wendy Beckett have I had the pleasure of listening to someone who not only loves art and art history but who speaks directly from a place deep inside of them--unfiltered, human and real. That is what we truly need! Thanks again!!

What an absolutely gorgeous house! It make me so happy (I feel emotional at the minute) to know that YOU and your wife live here... who better? You, of all people, who CARES about the history and the Soul of the property. It makes me feel as if there IS justice in the world. And you have restored it... I would love to hear more about THAT (the restoration). Philip, thank you SO MUCH for making these videos for us, for inviting us into your world. The World is richer for people like me, because of people like yourself.

The portrait of William Cope becoming available at the same time you were doing up the house is one of those "meant to be" situations that evokes such profound feelings when they happen.

I discovered you after watching all the Fake or Fortune episodes on You Tube and I must say this little look into your own collection and home is equally as fascinating. Your genuine enthusiasm and passion comes through. Your home is absolutely lovely and its history is amazing! Your personal collection of art would rival some museums. Thank you very much for this look into your world! I am green with envy!

Philip, I just discovered your Art in Isolation series. I am truly enjoying these. Even though it’s been three yeas since you started these, these episodes are timeless and so very interesting. I have not had the pleasure of having such beauty and talent at my disposal. I have watched many of your Fake or Fortune series and I enjoy those very much as well. These lessons you provide about art in depth, well I love them. Thank you to you and your son. 😁😃🌹🌷🌿

This is so fascinating. We have shorter history in America, shorter and shorter as you go west. I’m grew up near Boston, and a neighbor’s house was built in the 1600s. Now I’m outside Chicago, they put plaques on anything over 100 years old. We Americans buy your paintings to try to make up for our own lack of history. Personally, I love history & ancestry and your history is also mine. I’m descended from Henry II & Eleanor of Aquitaine.

Sometimes, the most wonderful treasures wash up onto the proverbial shoreline of KZread! Episode #20 of this “Art in Isolation” series came to me first-and I was so excited! What a great idea...Art History is my very favorite way to frame history, (pun intended) and I’ve been in need of creative inspiration...(I’m in Quarantine on the West Coast of the U.S., in the Pacific N.W., where we’re suddenly switching from cool, wet and cloudy, to sunny and 85 degrees, on May 7th, 2020). I know this will be good, as I’ve seen Philip Mould on lots of BBC Art programs. I can’t wait to watch the remaining 19 episodes! Thanking you in advance for this wonderful gift. Please take good (Covid-19) care of yourselves! (I don’t know whether this is helpful, or not, but the “pink socks” are aqua on my I-pad).

AH!!!!!! I have JUST discovered this/these and am thrilled to bits. I am coming to the end of 'Fake or Fortune' and, bereft, was stressing over what I would watch next (as 'F or F' is now my favourite thing to watch). I cannot tell you how sick to death I am of murder and mayhem. I am SO GRATEFUL to you and Fiona for the series. I'm in America where everything on television is 'a competition' ... oh dear God. Thank you Philip & co. for these!! (I can tell that the person behind the camera is a bit worried about how they are doing: Just a bit more stillness so that we have time to REALLY see the image. I like to look AT and then INTO paintings.
