Art & Iconography: a conversation with Aidan Hart & Jonathan Pageau
In this conversation, we explore the relationship of art in the 'secular' world and that which unfolds liturgically - that is, how the likes of Banksy might relate to the art of the Orthodox Church.

Спасибо! Интересно!
Bloody less go! As a Kiwi, its bloody awesome to have Aiden Heart speaking
Look at the ikonastasis of Andy Warhol's childhood church in Pittsburgh PA., St. John Christostom ...
wonderful conversation! a bit of an abrupt ending, what was said there?
I find this is a total example of convert mania. Inchantment couldn't be further from the Incarnation and what it has to offer . Well meaning but IMHO Dungeons and Dragons Orthodoxy. Perhaps Harry Potter orthodoxy is more apt.
35:00 John wick films
Because of ikons, all Orthodox especially and maybe mostly converts think the fact of being Orthodox makes them experts about art.
Warhol went to church every Sunday not every day.
Beuyes is organic, Keifer is not . 5he later is diliberate and calculated.
This obsession with ikons borders on idolatry.
Klimt probably had no interest in Ikons . This penchant to link practically everything to ikons is idiotic.
Trying to ligimitize ones polarized intelect by benevolently considering contemporary artists and movements is laughable.
The benevolence you both exhibit towards modern and contemporynart art is touching when it isn't intelectually a sort of virtue signaling.
Why do ikonographers and most orthodox converts automatically become world art experts... it is tiresome and boring.
