I do like the character of Riddick , certainly a lot more than Dom😂. Headsculpt is pretty decent I would say, I agree if you have a steady enough hand you could upgrade the blood work perhaps?. The dimensions are spot on and I like the overall look of him, think he pops on the shelf and once again I so appreciate you showcasing a lesser produced figure😀. Really thorough review as always and appreciate your candour, a great help for any collectors thinking of picking this guy up. As other comments alluded to so very close to the 1k mark super excited for you to hit it in the next wee while. Great indept review. He looks great. I have him on pre-order, I missed out on the first version, I wasn't making the same mistake twice. Riddick is a must-have, as I'm a big fan of the sci-fi franchise and character.

Great Review! I don't have this particular version in hand, but I will have to say, I think the first Dark Furyan was done a bit better. That blood splatter on this one is very distracting from the sculpt. This armor draws more attention (in the wrong way) to the seems on this body. If you can, I recommend picking up the original Dark Furyan release. The likeness is definitely there!

Thanks for you comments and support ing the channel it’s much appreciated👍🏼 I have never owned Art Figures V1 of this figure so can only compare it to the Chronicles figure which I think has the slightly better head sculpt. I definitely will doing a body swap on this one as exposed joints really should be a thing of the past imo. I will keep an eye out for the original version👌🏼Take care of yourself and happy collecting👍🏼

@@goFigure623 there are 2 previous versions of Riddick. Pitch Black was called “Boy Black” and the other Dark Furyan was from the Riddick movie.

@@goFigure623 Awesome! For a while I was combing the internet for that version, before the Dark Furyan came out. But once it did, I just kinda stuck with him.

Nice looking figure. I agree that the head sculpt is excellent, but his nose looks a little too large to me. I actually preferred Chronicles of Riddick over Pitch Black for the same reason I like Aliens more than the original Alien (sacrilege, I know)--they prioritize science fiction and action over horror, and are more of the type of movie I enjoy. Thanks for sharing. I watch and upvote all your comprehensive reviews even though I don't always comment. Keep at it, you're almost up to 1,000 subscribers!

Best of both worlds 👏😎👍 Terminator was more horror than action (T2) and one could also argue the same about Predator, and the Road Warrior 🤔 I'm a big fan of the Riddick character as well, so I definitely agree with you 👍

​@@uncardedreviews9721 Thanks. When it comes to the Terminator, I actually have a slight preference for the original. T2 was a slicker and, in many ways, a better movie. However, I saw the first one when it premiered in the theaters and loved the simple storyline and low-budget aesthetics. But all the movies we've mentioned are excellent, and I'm grateful we have them all these years later to enjoy.

Thanks as always for your comments and supporting the channel it’s greatly appreciated 👍🏼 I wondered what was slightly off on the head sculpt and I think you may have nailed it. I’m no😘slightly more Pitch Black than Chronicles, slightly more Alien than Aliens (but not by much) slightly more Road Warrior than Fury Road. But I think we’ve been lucky to live through times where Predator T2 and Aliens were the summer blockbuster’s and not some generic, tick box, 500 million, flop buster😂 …and studios were brave enough to push Sci Fi anti heroes like Riddick. I'm not keen on the body they use my pitch black I upgraded but the 1.0 one is very hard to change because the colour of the figure

Other 3rd parties are using seamless bodies so it’s about time Art Figures got with the times imo. Take care of yourself and happy collecting👍🏼
