Ойын-сауық
Here is a series that I cant find much information on.That may be because the show isnt very good.Have 4 or 5 episodes, really dont find any of them very entertaining, and this one is no exception. But didnt see any episodes posted on You Tube so here it is,like it or not.Aired on NBC in January 1960,and contains ads for AC Spark Plugs and Delco Batteries.

Originally telecast- in color- on January 8, 1960, and was the fourth in a series of ten specials Art appeared in for NBC.
Never saw this, its interesting. Art Carney of course made it big and became so well known when He went on the Honeymooners!
I was 5 years old when this was first shown...I remember it vividly.....for my age group, it was very entertaining.😀
Dope vintage 1960 fursuit.
please post more of these! I've been looking for this show for a while. It's a variety/ anthology show. If this episode wasn't good, there are others. I saw some at the Broadcast Museum in Chicago.
This was originally a very brief-running Broadway comedy starring Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy, from a novel called "Three Roads to Mecca" with a completely different plot save the dog suit. In the play and this TV version a put-upon bank teller starts wearing a dog suit to break free of suburban conformity. (I researched the play after accidentally coming across a tiny ad for it while searching through old issues of the NY Times on microfilm; one might consider this the first appearance of a furry on TV, even predating Monty Python's "Mouse Problem" sketch by more than a decade!)
I didnt realize this was from 1960, I was thinking it was before the Honeymooners. , He played parts in a lot of Tv Shows over the Years!

It was actually in-between "The Honeymooners" - the 1955-56 "Classic 39," and the 1966-70 "Color Episodes."
There are many programs that were shown in the so-called classic era of 1950s and 1960s TV that were not very good. Nonetheless, I think it's still important to still store these programs for archival purposes. FYI: According to the IMDb and confirmed in a NY Times search, the program, which was a 90 minute program, aired January 8, 1960. Thanks for posting. www.imdb.com/title/tt2173254/?ref_=ttep_ep4

In 1987 Jackie Gleason was asked about his opinion on the success of The Honeymooners. His response was that simple “ Art Carney” Enough said. I loved the Harry and Tonto movie 🍿 as well and I think he should’ve won the Oscar that year. He was my hero 🦸♂️ Thankfully Yours- David J. Goldbaum Boston Mass. 🇨🇳

This is interesting. It did end abruptly? Art Carney is a great actor.
Thank you for posting this. By any chance do you have available the Art Carney special from 1961 called Everybody's doing it?
You may not enjoy these, but I sure do! Any chance of seeing the others you have uploaded?
