What people don't realise is, while Knee was on top of the world all those years before Tekken 7, Arslan was rhe best player in Pakistan for all those years too in Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag 2, and I'm sure you know where being the best in Pakistan puts you on the global map of competition. Had Arslan traveled in the Tag 2 and T6 days he would have countless titles in those games too under his belt. He was too young to travel and there was no concept of esports in Pakistan back then. Arslan himself says his best years were wasted because he didn't travel during Tag 2. If he doesn't consider his current position his best dayss imagine how much more of a beast he was back then.

21:20 The GOAT is Arslan in Tekken without question. All his accolades prove it. This debate is similar to sports GOAT, the best example is MJ and Lebron. Statistics, Analytics, Winning, and Accolades all goes to Jordan but people still debate that Lebron is above him which is statistically and factually incorrect. If you want to go head to head between the two just open Arslan and Knee's Liquipedia tournament stats in Tekken 7. If you look at it closely most of Arslan's placements are overwhelmingly him placing first on all events he attends (about 80%). Not to mention he has 4 EVO titles in comparison to knee which has 3, in which we all Fighting Game people agree that EVO is the most prestigious title a FG player can hold. Another thing to add is Arslan and Knee's record against each other is Overwhelmingly Arslan's victory which factors into the equation as well. Longevity does not put you as the GOAT; your record, accolades, and statistics does. Just because someone plays longer, does not mean they automatically get the greatest of all time title in the profession they're a part of.

Mate he is the best currently. But someone will be better. It is just his time. Knee when he is compared to Arslan , people tend to forget he is freaking 40 years old. But when we check younger Korean players Jeandding , Ulsan , Low High . They are very close to the pakistani Players. All of them are a decade younger than knee. But for now yes . Atif , Arslan are probably the strongest players indeed.

I think TMM is a bit oblivious about Galgonge, he's been tearing new arselochs in Korea, but he's not that well-known as he doesn't travel (afaik). Extremely solid player, and quite explosive too. Very useful traits for a tournament presence. Massive ggs to Pinya as well, this guy is a gem. Time and time again he's shown he can defeat anyone, and half the time he's hyperdominant and the other half he flops. As a Kaz/Anna enthusiast, I love these odds.

Yes, we at PK are really fond of reaction time arsalan ash has when playing, it is like totally unbelievable. During Tag 2, ash mostly played KOF and he was good but Khan and Bilal ruled most of the era in Tag 2 here, big ups.

Arslan had a great FT 7 against Knee using his Kazumi. Knee was playing out of his mind.

Arslan is the perfect tournament player. Arslan only playing Kuni / Zafina just means that he has a fuck ton more character mastery than Knee who plays whoever. Like, if you just look at Knee's combos vs Arslan... Knee mostly only uses the simple combos, while Arslan will most of the time do max damage. 5-10 pts of dmg goes a long way in these tournaments. Lastly, combo adjustments / some niche situations... yeah, Arslan has it covered. It's not as if Knee doesn't have the potential, it's just that he's severely lacking in character mastery when compared to Arslan.

After playing Tekken 8, I feel like not going back to Counter Hit 7.

The thing is both Knee and Arslan hold strong arguments to be named as "the greatest Tekken player of all time". Knee has been performing almost consistently at the highest of levels since at least Tekken 5 days and still keeps going, delivering top-class performances. Then, we have Arslan who claimed four EVO titles only in Tekken 7, which is an impressive achievement. And who knows: maybe if Arslan hadn't fell short so often to his hardest match-up - which is visa - he would have done even more in the game. Personally, I think that no matter what happens, many viewers will be biased towards one player from various reasons. I'm just happy that we have two gods of Tekken, who can go at it even these days (cue the recent FT7 between Knee and Arslan in Korea). Even if you don't like watching them in action, there are so many alternatives these days, like Qudans, JDCR, etc.... and that's what makes this game great to watch/play.

Knee gained his achievements during a far less competitive era of Tekken and his stats still fall short to Arslan who not only has more Evo wins but did it all during T7 which was when Tekken was at it's highest level of competitiveness. Also Arslan did it all in a 4 year period which is insane. Took knee 20 years for his 3 Evo's

Everyone else has access to these characters, but nobody can play them as precisely and dominantly as Arslan. Not many people were complaining when Knee was using op characters like Feng, Geese, Devil Jin (regardless of their current state, these characters were one considered op, and were indeed nerfed). I feel like the Kunimitsu Zafina argument is just an excuse to downplay Arslan's achievements and hate on the poor guy. And if you think he doesn't have what it takes to win without Kunimitsu and Zafina, keep in mind that he recently beat Knee's Feng in a first to 7 match using Kazumi. Feng is still considered very strong by many players (some might even say he's still overpowered), while Kazumi right now is considered mediocre at best.

AO with Kuni did not even make the top 8. Is Kazumi ( season 2 after the nerf)a dlc when Arslan won Evo with her?

@@ojsojs6004 did you not watch evo?? Almost every single tournament had the same characters in finals. While y’all are trying to be arslan warriors, you need to realize the facts. Arslan would not survive in older tekken games cause they are much harder than 7.

@@ninjutsuable The top 25 in Evo only have 2 Kunis. The ultimate dlc power for you and yet Chanel and Kkokkoma can't win any tournaments despite playing with Kuni for years. AO has not won international twt using Kuni. If she is an ultimate dlc power, Kkokkoma and Chanel should have won a tournament by now. Arslan as the Pakistan community mentioned is stronger at older Tekken games like Tekken 6 and Tag 2 because he has better reflexes back then. Arslan actually won a TT2 tournament last year in Pakistan. . Give credit to Arslan.

Winning tournaments doesn't make anyone GOAT. Arlsan spams the shit out of all the tournament characters. Kazumi until nerfed, zafina, geese and kuni. Knee on the other hand plays a lot more characters in tourneys and his game play is best. Lets see Arlsan pick a normal characters like paul, shaheen and win the tournaments

I even doubt Koreans can even win comfortably against local arcade level players in Pakistan. There are many players who don't own video game consoles and only play offline in video games shops.

Exactly 😂 i be watching tekken tournaments back in the day and wondering damn these guys are nothing compared to our local boys at the arcade.

Pakistan is number 1 and Arslan is the Greatest of all time❤❤❤❤❤🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰. Anyone can play a broken character, but it requires skill to win, which is why we have the best region.
