So true a lot of the things he was saying I felt like clapping with the audience every time he dropped knowledge that was profound. I love how he honors his mother and how he always gives thanks and credit to God for having the talents that he does and being able to do what he does. I may be many years late on this but goodness this guy has always been gorgeous. Man he was fine in the 90s. He still looks the same today nose piercings and all. Very mature for someone who was in their mid to late 20s in this interview. His earthiness and humility is sexy to me

Wow the fact that he mentioned the book of revelation shows he knows the reality of life and the world. Since the beginning of the world it’s always been about God & us.

I feel like Lenny wanted to say *so* much more but was holding back trying to respect the format of Arsenio Hall's show. It could have been awkward and uncomfortable with Arsenio being naturally witty and comedic and wanting to keep things light and playful. But they both did an amazing job of respecting each other's professional expectations and personal boundaries while still being able to have a dialogue and bith entertain and give a story to the audience.

This just made me want to see him in person more

i first heard lenny's music in 1989. i was 17. his first album had a profound effect on me. as i grew older, my life became harder and i wasn't able to keep track of him very well, particularly after "5". i now realise that love isn't the only important thing. i missed out on a lot because i adopted a hippy type life, and i partly regret it. i don't wish i was a capitalist or anything, but i wish i had enough sense to ensure i had a good future. being used and abused didn't help either.
