Hoffenheim by far the more composed and cohesive team in the first 45 minutes, just playing out the back proved a challenge for the Arsenal ladies on multiple occasions. Two up at half time but they were second best all over the pitch with the exception of the excellent Leah Williamson who’s performance was head and shoulders above any of her team mates. On evidence of first half Hoffenheim are a better team. Hopefully second half is better than the first from their perspective.

That was an impressive win, as Hoffenheim are no push overs. Arsenal I am guessing are up there among the favorites, although I still think Chelsea just edge over Arsenal and there will be no stopping the ultimate winners, Barcelona.

I think Jonas has a better grasp on chelsea than emma has on arsenal. Its gonna come down to the performance of the players when that day comes. I think arsenal was a bit off today esp the passes on the first half. But overall well done to them

Barcelona will have something to say about that, but do think Lyon and Barca are the 2 best teams in the uwcl for sure

The English always have tremendous luck Arsenal was not better than Hoffeinheim but I still see Lyon much superior to other teams I think not a German, English or even if Barcelona could take away the title. Lyon is an amazing team

Well, I have eventually started to enjoy this slowed-down version of the game even if only on rare occasions. I do concede some of the girls do look nice in silk shorts at least that's something !
