Same. At the start of the season, I gave Liverpool only a 1-5% chance of winning the title. After the first month or so of the season, it was clear to me that it was going to be a very close three-horse race, probably going to the final day of the season with all 3 still in contention. Despite the early impressive performances of Spurs and Villa and Brighton (and Newcastle on the opening day), I never thought any of those teams stood a chance, because they all tend to have too many bad days where they suddenly lose heavily, whereas the top three are always incredibly tough to beat and almost seem inevitable to come back and win after going behind. I've been a Liverpool fan since 1987 (the first game I watched on telly was the Littlewoods Cup Final when they lost 2-1 to Arsenal after taking the lead) and I think it's now more or less a ~33% chance for all three teams, but my gut feeling from fairly early in the season is that Arsenal are fractionally the more likely to win it, because they were getting good results despite not playing well early on, and they haven't looked like losing their nerve like last season. I'll be delighted if Liverpool win it, very pleased if Arsenal win it, and distraught if the Oil Corp win it.

@@abualram2 Liverpool were still at 1-1 at home to Wolves with less than 10 mins remaining on the last day of the 21-22 season, I seem to remember ... and Shitty (with their "champions' mentality", so easy to casually diagnose in hindsight) had managed to go two goals down at home to Villa. I'm sure there will be last-day drama this year, as well.

Great analysis, I reckon it's gone from 40-30-30 in Liverpool's favor to a fair fight, i.e. 33-33-33. The United result is disappointing but expected, Liverpool drawing at United is the average result despite the batterings in recent years. I firmly believe Arsenal need some kind of lead on Liverpool because of the fixures, which they have thanks to their goal difference, and Liverpool need a lead on City because it's City and hunting them down in Spring is nearly impossible. It's *definately* not over yet.

I really appreciated the various statistics and arguments that Alice provided. Alice is probably one of the best pundits in this style, I have no doubt about it. However, to become a champion it is not enough just to excel in various aspects of the game. Mindset and mentality are important attributes if you want to become champions and Arsenal must fight to prove this part. The data that Alice provided along with her analysis is proof of how strong Arsenal is currently, even Liverpool and ManCity cannot beat them in the current league. You are so RIGHT !! This Lady is special when it comes to proving the different arguments regarding on the current performance of each teams. Arsenal's form, right now, they're probably the Best Football team in the WORLD !!! I don't understand why so many people, especially TV pundits, hates and still doubt them so much !! Even if they win 5 or 6 NIL, the verdict is - how bad their opponents were and if its a big team they defeat, they argue on how the opponents were not in form or this and that player was injured or they were not playing the best football that day !! I am hoping the Gunners will win, on the basis that Spurs seem to rely on disorganising a defence and rapidly punishing it. I do not think Arsenal will leave openings for them.

When Jota got injured I thought Liverpool would struggle up front. They play the same Klopp way in most respects but players like Mane, Firmino and Jota would have seen them walk the title again. Mane was a silent leader, coming up with goods when it really mattered whereas Salah is a bit like Kane, unreliable in those crucial moments that can win you titles.

Whereas Arsenal have a harder run in on paper, they stand in a better stead than "themselves" by this time last year. The amoeba like adaptability plus the points won against both City and Liverpool this season means they just have to beat the rest of the teams. They can win all the remaining fixures and could beat villa by even 5 goals at home because the goal difference matters.

@@mymemories925 I actually thought the same thing that they still play in the FA too. However, they have proven that a busy schedule is not a problem last season, unless one of Rodri or KDB suffers another injury, then I am sure City will lose all those titles.

Any of them can still do it obviously. But only Leicester have ever won the prem without seriously challenging the year before. If anyone can do it with a whole new team Klopp can, but a hell of an ask to go in to the pressure of a run in, in the middle of a wobble and expect us to come out on top. If he does it, its up there with Leicester. And it's one hell of an ask.

LFC fan here. We pooched that match by trying to one-time too many balls towards Onana. One touch from Mo on a number of balls and he could have scored 3. Same with Diaz and Nunez.

Arsenal DEFENCE at the moment Alice is the BEST!! Also Arsenal have no injuries at the moment... All their best players are back!! The only tough game could be the United one but with Saliba, Gabriel, Ben White at the back well i cannot see how any team will break through! Also both defensive midfielders are all back & in form... Rice & Partey!!

I'm not sure Chelsea can be considered a bogey team anymore, we've not lost to them in a while, shoot we've not lost in their stadium over the last 4 times we've gone there, and the one draw was this season. I'd say they see us as a bogey team now. I'm more concerned with going to Old Travatory, I've no idea how the Mancs keep managing it but nobody above them can seem to win up there. Must be all the ammonia in the air.

If CL is well and truly gone for United by the time Arsenal go there, does anyone seriously see them doing City or LP a favour? If a win or positive result keeps Arsenal on top (presuming they are at that time), I can't see United going all out to win that fixture.

Far from over. Over the past few weeks, any one of the top 3 could have been 1st, 2nd or 3rd depending on the results. Arsenal could be third by the end of next weekend and City could be top. Or Arsenal could go 3 points clear (highly unlikely but still possible).

Exactly, but now they look mentally drained. Utd took their souls inflicting the FA Cup defeat and recent draw. Arsenal look mentally matured and ready to challenge City all the way, even tough we have tougher fixtures. It's in our hands now

Out of the 3 clubs in the title race, Liverpool will drop the most points. Arsenal will win the remaining fixtures and add to their goal difference which will be insurmountable by seasons end. In those 7 fixtures left, Arsenal will have allowed as many shots on target total than Man U will in 2 games. It’s all in Arsenal’s hands. City will stumble, Liverpool will stumble and Arsenal finishes with 92 pts and a double digit goal difference.

Basically, before even watching a video, as Liverpool fan, i can say that Man City gonna win yet again, they could easily win all remaining matches. Arsenal has difficult fixtures. Liverpool dropped too many points against top six. I remember Carragher said some time ago that in order for Liverpool to win the title they need to get at least 4 points in head to head fixtures against city. And we have 0 wins against City (2 draws), 0 wins against Arsenal (1 lose, 1 draw), none wins against MU. So yeah once again those blue bastards gonna win it..

Nah Liverpool are chokers in last decade or so...Steven Gerrard choked...now we choke again... it's likely we get a few draws for these last few games...been disappointed so many times ...very different from the early 70-80s team when mentally they were very strong..
