We did what we had to do. If we had finished up drawing or losing because we kept chasing goals you would have complained that we should have seen the game out! Our game changed when we scored. We know our defence is good enough to go back to 1-0 to the Arsenal! The Graham mentality 1-0 gets you the same amount of points as 4-0. And all that mattered was the points.

It’s about time we start thinking more positively about this project. From what I see, majority of the fanbase are behind this train and it’s only the few loud noises that make the head lines. 8th, 8th, 5th, 2nd &…….. Put that against any of the premier league big six bar the champions & you’ll see who has the highest momentum in reaching to that next level. Beauty of football is what we see with our eyes and not just data, but law of averages says that Arsenal will win one of the big two trophies before the end of this “project”

Fair assessment Dan. I also agree that next season needs to bring silverware and a proof he can get things over line. Yeah 7-8 players gone and competition for saka partey and havertz/jesus and raya plus maybe another 1-2 in midfield to give us depth if partey goes and different options. It’s nice to go to last day with a chance and we put the pressure back on city which is all we can do. This is from someone that doesn’t always agree with your assessment or view.

What artetas done has been really impressive when you think about it. Out of the next 5 titles, i think we can get a couple at least based on our trajectory

He'll get nothing. This season and the last one were the best chances he'll ever get and he still couldn't do it. Next season everyone will be stronger and it'll be 6 years winning diddly squat again. He is the Spanish Brendan Rodgers.

Arsenal were defeated before they went out after City beat Fulham and all Utd had to do was be professional and capitalize on Arsenal's weak mindset. But once again Trossard comes clutch and saves Arteta. But it's disgraceful how easy it was for Arsenal to just coast in gear 2 for the whole game. Utd looked like they didn't even know what to do when they had the ball and it's a shame because that Amad guy looks good. If Utd had a plan or actually some confidence they could have got a win or a draw but Arsenal are a very lucky team. Have been all season. Got away with one today against a UTD B team.

Any talk of underachievement by Arteta is crazy fkd up . Even if we don’t win anything next year but again come close we must be patient. The Man City project is way more advanced. We are blessed that we are not a Man Utd , Chelsea or a Spursy we are so lucky to have this incredible young manager which will improve again and learn from mistakes.. Ancelotti s not coming to us.. Be careful with what you wish for..

This season Arteta is clearly taking it to last day fair play so if we don't win it this year that warrants 1 more year for me but that is IT. Next season as long we strengthen and get more additions especially a striker there's is absolutely NO excuses not to win a major honour next season. It'll be 5-6 years by that point and I've been "patient" a lifetime my guy. If he still doesn't win next season then I'm sorry for me it's time to move on and get an elite manager that can take us to next level.
