Smith Rowe won't turn down the opportunity to join a proper club. Fulham is a much better option for him than Arsenal and Silva is a superior coach to Arteta. In 12 months, Rowe will once again be one of the hottest properties in football and double his value. Next summer Fulham will be hearing 'Ching ching'.

No it's better to sell Nelson for 20m to Palace then pay them the 60 that they want for Eze. You might be asking why? It would be the roughly same thing right? Well when you sell an academy player, the books will show that as pure profit which is much better for dealing with the financial rules

A smaller club would need to take a chance. But he’s on “big club” wages remember too and nobody would match what he’s making here. I’d loan him out and start using Nwaneri. Mikel needs to get better with trusting academy talents over a player like Vieira who either isn’t fit or does basically nothing when he get opportunities

Smith Rowe need at least 2 loan move before breaking to the Arsenal team. First to low level league to gain match fitness and have injury free season then second to a tough side to prove himself. It’s a pity though but it will be very difficult to become Arsenal regular currently

Eze is more efficient than ESR. ESR often plays passes without enough power or sometimes slightly behind teammates.

It is sad about Smith Rowe. Too many long term injuries at a crucial time in his development have held him back. Hopefully the injuries are behind him and he can get a good move and get the game time and become the player his potential deserves.

Don Robbie there's nothing taking time at all, Chelsea started their own transfer after Arsenal and they completed before us, why it doesn't take time. Sometimes I don't like how Arsenal do transfer business. If not because Bologna said they aren't going to sell to Juventus if not Juve would've sign the guy from us.

Eze wouldn't push Arsenal forward because he suffers from the same problems as almost all of Arsenal's other forwards- a complete lack of creative spark and decisiveness. He frequently makes the wrong decisions, dwells too long on the ball, takes random potshots when there's a pass on, doesn't look up and isn't that agile. He's not a bad player because he is quite direct, has a great technique, great at ball carrying and scores goals. But he only scores so many goals because he takes so many selfish potshots. Also I swear prem fans in general get hoodwinked by tekky dribbling. Tekky dribbling does not a great player make. He's a 30-40 mil player, even with english tax, not 60, even though he'd probably still get 20 g+as under Arteta's system and world class coaching. Point is he would be an opportunity cost. He's not even what Arsenal need, least of all because Trossard and Martinelli alternate in his position already, whilst Saka plays every minute of every season and Nelson is on his way out, and he's absolutely not a left mid either. A RW should be the absolute highest priority alongside an actual specialist b2b left mid

Decades before the likes of Brighton took up the player-development thingy and made it a money spinner, we’d owned a widely sought-after production line. We grew young talents who became so good that sides with big money and recent success trails swooped and snapped them up. Then we’d go for cheaper options with talent who are either being frustrated elsewhere or are from sides without much of a winning culture. This was okay with the Kroenkes as a sustainable business model but we lost our competitive edge even though we retained our footballing philosophy. These days, we have got back that competitive edge, but there’s still a tiny bit of the old business culture hovering above our grounds. Naturally, children are most confident at home. So, if home gives them no confidence, they will become wantaways. Now, if the few who manage to remain at home have the talent but do not become big dressing room characters or leaders on most fronts, there will be success and succession problems in addition to the talent retention issues. Mikel has shown that he loves the Club, but he needs to get this “Barca stigma” and “City stubbornness” out of his head in order to complete our present remake project with an all round balanced approach. We are nearly there, just that one bit he needs to sort out and we’d be coasting.
