I thought we'd at best hoped for a draw until bailey came on. Bailey coming onto the pitch made me believe we'd win the game... In that 2nd half we were especially good, persistent and tenacious... the win I knew was inevitable.

That City team needs the 4th to get the recognition it deserves as the best PL team of all team (even if it was a slightly better squad last season - still the same team). More importantly we really need CL this season or else it probably never comes. The finances are needed now, if we are to go for qualification next season too.

Football is all about ups and downs, this season is fantastic as a villa fan. Doing the double over Arsenal is incredible. Only looking up for the last few games and next season, its only the start of the Unai era and im all for it. Massive fan of Rogers, think he will be huge.

Was dreading this game, what a performance - resolute, patient, and a brilliant 2nd half. Very press resistant and stepped onto them, grew in confidence & took our chances. Martinez kept us in it and you could see them start to run out of belief. Massive win - we will get 4th now. UTV!

Fantastic Arsenal team, full strength scoring for fun against a Villa team below par from the start of the season, letting in poor goals every game, struggling to keep a clean sheet. To be 0-0 at HT I thought was a huge positive. I was praying we didn't let one in early in the 2nd half, and we didn't, in fact the opposite, we took the game to them. We showed them how far we have come and why we deserve to be 4th! Every one of our players earned their name on the team sheet, put in an immense shift and on balance I feel deserved this result. Ollie Watkins is the best striker I have seen at this club, honestly I hope every single pundit/commentator shows him the respect he deserves. His goal was absolutely superb and it put the game to bed. I really hope he gets our player of the season. Up The Unai's Villa.💜

1st half was a masterclass itself. Yes they had chances but defensive display against what would be an obvious onslaught was amazing. We not only stipped them scoring but sucked the confidence and belief out of them ready for that 2nd half performance. The 2nd half doesn't happen without the 1st. Overall, what a game plan. Mesmerising! UTV

You have just witnessed Uni and his team give Arteta and Arsenal a lesson in defence and attack. Carlos was immense, Konsa Brilliant, Zanola was a menace. John and Yuri were superb in the double pivot. Watkins is just pure class what a goal. Musa didn't have a great game. Bailey drove them mad and the opener. We have to keep it going for the remaining games. What a game Up The Villa.

The whole team ran through brick walls today, the defence fought for that clean sheet like their lives depended on it, Emi looks like a keeper possessed, we never looked like conceding really. That 1st goal was key and was gonna win the game. Just MAGNIFICENT!

If we just had a few more players back... What a season this could have been! Impressive tactics from Unai. SO happy for him!!!!

Mainstream media/pundits have been writing the Villa off all season,even though we've been up there 95% of this season,this is a middle finger up to all those assholes doubting us every time we have a blip. What a performance from our boys & we totally deserved the win/3 points,so 3 points ahead of Spurs with a +3 goal difference & Spurs still have to play the top 3. You know I have a soft spot for Villa after my comments through the season here on your fabtastic channel but I was hoping for a win for my team to keep ahead of City, but credit where credit is due and the second half there was only one team who went out for the win so well played to Aston Villa. Twists and turns may yet still happen and I have a funny feeling about City away to Fulham but we will see, our run in is much harder. I celebrate when we win but offer the same grace when the opposition play better than us. I do believe the players were on one for Emery at his previous club lol!
